Objective:To explore the relationship between serum prolactin levels and metabolic-related fatty liver disease. Methods: A total of 180 patients who were hospitalized in the Endocrinology Department of the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of New Medical University from January 2020 to December 2020 were selected.According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 148 qualified research subjects were screened, and the results of all research subjects were detected and recorded.Gender, age, weight, height, body mass index(BMI),systolic blood pressure(SBP),diastolic blood pressure(DBP),fasting blood glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartic acid Transaminase(AST),triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL),prolactin(PRL)levels, fasting insulin levels(FINS),Homeostasis model insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR),abdominal ultrasound results,in which women also need to record menstruation.Based on the presence or absence of MAFLD,statistical methods were used to explore the relationship between serum prolactin levels and metabolic-related fatty liver.Results:(1)In the total population, the prevalence of BMI,DBP,ALT,triglycerides,T2 DM,fasting insulin levels, and HOMA-IR in the MAFLD group were significantly higher than those in the control population(all P<0.05),and age was significant Lower than those without MAFLD(P<0.05).(2)In the male population, compared with the control group, the ALT,AST,triglyceride, and insulin resistance index of the MAFLD group were significantly increased, while the HDL and PRL levels were significantly lower than the control group(all P<0.05);the female population Among them, compared with the control group, the levels of ALT,triglycerides, total cholesterol,LDL,fasting insulin, and insulin resistance index in the MAFLD group were significantly increased, while the PRL level was significantly lower than that of the control group(all P<0.05).(3)In patients with type 2 diabetes, compared with the control group, the male MAFLD group ALT,AST,and triglycerides were significantly higher, while the PRL level was significantly lower than the control group(all P<0.05);the female MAFLD group DBP,The levels of ALT,triglycerides, and fasting insulin were significantly increased, while the age and serum PRL levels were significantly lower than those of the control group(all P<0.05).(4)In the overweight and obese people, compared with the control group, the male MAFLD group ALT and triglycerides were significantly higher, while the HDL and PRL levels were significantly lower than the control group(all P<0.05);female MAFLD group DBP,Triglycerides increased significantly, while serum PRL levels were significantly lower than those of the control group(all P<0.05).(5)In premenopausal women, the BMI and ALT of the MAFLD group were significantly higher than those of the MAFLD-free group, while the PRL levels were significantly lower than those of the MAFLD-free group(all P<0.05);in postmenopausal women, the triglycerides of the MAFLD group,Total cholesterol, fasting insulin,HOMA-IR(all P<0.05),and the PRL level was significantly lower than without MAFLD.(6)Multivariate analysis showed that in the three groups of population models,PRL is a protective factor for MAFLD.(7)ROC curve analysis shows that the area under the ROC curve of the three variables is significantly greater than 0.5,which means that it has a certain predictive effect. The specific pairwise comparison shows that the prediction ability of PRL is higher than that of triglycerides, and the prediction probability of model combination is higher than that of triglycerides, but there is no difference between the prediction probability of PRL and the model. Conclusion: There is a significant negative correlation between PRL and MAFLD.PRL is a protective factor for MAFLD.PRL can be used as a noninvasive diagnostic model to predict the occurrence of MAFLD.
