| Objective: To study the relationship between rs10985811 gene polymorphism of GABBR2 locus and schizophrenic patients in Xinjiang Uygur. Methods: Taking Xinjiang Uygur population as the research object, the second-generation sequencing technology was performed on the genes of 602 Uygur schizophrenia patients and 672 Uygur healthy controls.Through data analysis, the clinical characteristics of different genotypes and gene frequencies between the case group and the control group were obtained. Results: The distribution of rs10985811 loci in the case group and the control group was consistent with Hardi-Weinberg law after Hardy-Weinberg genetic balance test was performed using SHesis software platform on the premise that there was no heterogeneity in age and sex between the two groups. Conclusion rs10985811 GABBR2 loci alleles(χ~2= 0.021,P =0.884)and genotype(χ~2= 0.467,P = 0.494)distributed in xinjiang uygur people schizophrenia without statistical significance. The loci alleles between different gender(χ~2= 0.165,P = 0.683)and genotype(χ~2= 3.073,P = 0.215)distributed in xinjiang uygur people schizophrenia without statistical significance. There was significant difference between different genotypes in the age of schizophrenia onset in Xinjiang Uygur population(F=5.254,P=0.005).Conclusion: The rs10985811 polymorphism of GABBR2 locus is not associated with schizophrenia, and is not a risk factor for schizophrenia. This study enriched the biological sample bank and clinical database of mental illness in Xinjiang Uygur population, and provided support for subsequent studies. |
