Objective: To investigate the related risk factors of urinary tract infection after ureterolithiasis treated by ureteroscope holmium laser. Methods: data of patients with ureteral stones who underwent ureteroscopic h-olmium laser lithotripsy at our urology department between August 2017 and Nov-ember 2019 were retrospectively reviewed.A total of 200 individuals were included because of incomplete data,45 cases were censored, and the clinical data of 155 individuals were finally included, including 98 males and 57 females, aged 19-77 years, with a mean age of 44.28 ± 1.089 years;the patients were divided into control and infected groups according to the occurrence of postoperative urinary tract infection, and the clinical data of the two groups were analyzed statistically. Results: the incidence of 24 postoperative urinary tract infections was 15.48%,which was first statistically significant by univariate analysis including age, female sex, multiple stones, larger stone size, ureteral stent retention time, operative time, and history of chronic underlying disease(P < 0.05)and finally by binary logistic regression analysis including stone size, age Operative time, ureteral stent indwelling time were independent risk factors for the development of postoperative urinary tract infection(P<0.05).Conclusions: stone size, operative time, age, and ureteral stent retention time were independent risk factors for the development of urinary tract infection after surgery. |
