| Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of invigorating the spleen,invigorating the kidney,activating blood and reducing turbidity in the treatment of chronic kidney disease by meta-analysis,and to provide evidence-based basis for the further study of the use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of chronic kidney disease.Methods: Computer searches were carried out for CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,CBM,Pubmed,EMBASE,and Cochrane library databases.Literature was screened by two non-interacting researchers based on established inclusion and exclusion criteria,and the selected literature was assessed for risk using the bias risk assessment tool provided by the Cochrane collaboration,finally,through Revman5.4 software to analyze the research indicators and draw conclusions.Results: A total of 17 articles were included in this study,all of which were in Chinese.There were 1418 subjects included in this study.13 papers described the clinical effective rate,RR =1.31,95% CI = [1.22,1.41],Z = 7.75,p < 0.00001.The difference was statistically significant.The treatment effective rate of the observation group was better than that of the control group.There were 17 reports of Creatinine,MD =-38.83,95% CI =[-50.61,-27.05],Z = 6.46,p < 0.00001.The difference was statistically significant.15 reports were made on urea nitrogen,MD =-3.09,95% CI = [-4.02,-2.17],Z = 6.58,p < 0.00001.The difference was statistically significant and the observation group was superior to the control group.The clearance rate of endogenous creatinine,MD = 4.20,95% CI = [1.95,6.44],Z = 3.66,p = 0.0003< 0.05,was significantly higher in the observation group than in the Control Group.There were 7 reports of Hemoglobin MD = 8.67,95%CI = [5.88,11.46],Z = 6.09,p < 0.00001.The difference was statistically significant and the observation group was superior to the control group.6 papers described the adverse reactions,RR= 0.99,95% CI = [0.37,2.62],Z = 0.03,p = 0.98.There was no significant difference in the occurrence of adverse reactions between the control group and the treatment group.The funnel diagram of clinical efficiency,serum Creatinine,and urea nitrogen did not show a symmetrical inverted funnel,indicating publication bias in the included studies.Conclusion: On the basis of the treatment of Western medicine,the Chinese Medicine of invigorating the Spleen,invigorating the kidney,activating blood and reducing turbidity matter can effectively reduce serum creatinine and urea nitrogen,increase hemoglobin,improve the clearance rate of endogenous creatinine and delay the progress of renal function,it’s better than Western medicine alone. |
