Objective:Through the research and analysis of TCM syndromes and pelvic floor electromyography assessment results,we summarized the distribution law of TCM syndrome types of outlet obstructive constipation and the distribution law of pelvic floor electromyography assessment, and the correlation between the two was proved. This result will improve the objective basis for TCM syndrome differentiation. Methods:We selected 161 patients who were hospitalized in the Second Anorectal Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine who were diagnosed with outlet obstructive constipation as the research objects. We investigated the general situation, the four-diagnosis information of traditional Chinese medicine, and conducted pelvic floor electromyography assessment. And we conducted dialectical analysis through syndrome differentiation.Study the distribution of syndrome types and the distribution of pelvic floor electromyography assessment.Descriptive statistical analysis was carried out using statistical methods to determine the correlation between the two.Results:1.General analysis of 161 effective cases. The male to female ratio is 1:1.72,and middle-aged and elderly people were more common. The course of the disease is mostly one to five years. The average score of ODS score is 9.53±2.87,the average of PHQ-9 scale is 2.88±4.08,and the average of GAD-7 scale is 2.63±3.91.Bristol score is mainly 1-3 and the clinical manifestations are mainly anorectal and abdominal symptoms such as laborious defecation, anal obstruction, anal drop, and abdominal distension.OCC patients often have anorectal diseases such as mixed hemorrhoids and rectal mucosal prolapse.2.The distribution of occ TCM syndrome types. The five types are the most common, including Lung-spleen Qi deficiency syndrome,Liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome,Liver-Qi stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome,Spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome, and Qi Yin deficiency syndrome, accounting for 2.5%,18.0%,40.4%,36.0% and 3.1%,respectively.The five types have differences in the distribution of OCC patients(P<0.05).The syndrome of liver-Qi stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome is more common in young and middle-aged people, and the syndrome of Spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome is more common in the elderly.Syndrome elements with higher frequency of he occurrence: large intestine, spleen, liver, and kidney.Disease syndromes with higher frequency: Qi deficiency,Qi stagnation,Yin deficiency,Yang deficiency, fire, and dampness.3.The distribution of pelvic floor EMG assessment.Mixed pelvic floor muscles are more common in both males and females, and the tension-type pelvic floor muscles are mostly dominated by Liver-Qi stagnation and Spleen-deficiency Syndrome. The relaxation type is mainly composed of,Liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome,Liver-Qi stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome, while the mixed type is mainly composed of Liver-Qi stagnation and spleen-deficiency syndrome,Spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome. From the analysis of TCM syndrome types: Liver stagnation and spleen deficiency account for a higher proportion of the three types of pelvic floor muscles;liver and kidney yin deficiency are mainly of relaxation type, while spleen-kidney deficiency,lung-qi deficiency and qi-yin deficiency were mainly of mixed type.4.There is a correlation between the distribution of syndrome types of outlet obstructive constipation and the assessment of pelvic floor electromyography.By Fisher,P<0.05,which is statistically significant. Conclusion:There is a correlation between the distribution of syndrome types of outlet obstructive constipation and the assessment of pelvic floor electromyography.
