Objective : This project aims to provide a more effective and practical clinical treatment scheme for flexor thumb tendonositis by observing the clinical efficacy of acupotomology under the guidance of tendons theory, and comparing the differences in clinical efficacy and safety after the use of conventional blocking therapy. Methods:Seventy patients who met the diagnosis and inclusion criteria of this study recruited from Shanxi Acupuncture Hospital,Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi University of Chinese Medicine and the network were randomly assigned to the treatment group and the control group, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was treated with local sealing treatment for one time. The treatment group was treated with closure combined with acupotomology under the guidance of "meridian tendons theory" for one time. The changes of Quinnell score,VAS score of mobile pain,VAS score of tenderness, sclerosis, clanging and wringing scores of the metacarpophalangeal joints of the thumb before and after treatment in 2 groups were recorded,so as to comprehensively evaluate the clinical value of this method in the treatment of flexor thumb tenosheath inflammation.Results:(1)Both acupotomy therapy and local sealing therapy have good clinical efficacy for this disease, and both treatment schemes are effective in improving various indicators of flexor thumb tendonosheath disease patients.Comparison of activity pain and tenderness scores: The activity pain scores of the two groups of patients were improved before and after treatment, and the improvement of the treatment group was more obvious than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant.(2)Comparison of the scores of induration, snapping, and locking of the thumb metacarpophalangeal joints: The two groups of patients had improved induration, snapping, and locking of the thumb metacarpophalangeal joints before and after treatment. The improvement in the treatment group was more significant than that of the control group. There were differences Statistical significance.Conclusion:(1)Both the "treatment from the tendons" group and local closed treatment have good clinical effects on the disease, and both treatment options are effective in improving various indicators of patients with flexor thumb tenosynovitis.(2)On the basis of local sealing, treatment with acupotomy local release and distal release of the diseased muscle group will improve the patient’s condition more significantly and the effect is more accurate.(3)"Treatment from the tendons" has a positive effect on the treatment of the disease, and the ideas can also be applied to other diseases with a wide range of applications.
