Effect Of "Internet Plus" Family Centered Health Education On Outpatients With Hand Foot Mouth Disease And Their Parents | Posted on:2021-11-30 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:F H Qin | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2504306317486974 | Subject:Integrative Medicine | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objectives:To explore the application effect of "Internet plus" family centered health education method for outpatients with hand foot mouth disease and their parents.Methods:a total of 181 children with hand foot mouth disease(HFMD)and their parents were collected from June 2018 to October 2018 in a tertiary children’s Hospital of Hunan Province.They were randomly divided into control group and intervention group.The children with odd outpatient number and their parents were the control group(n=91),and the children with even outpatient number and their parents were the intervention group(n=90),The control group was given routine health education to parents,and the intevention group was given family centered "Internet plus" health education.After June,parents of children in the intervention group were interviewed and completed the relevant questionnaires.The accuracy rate of knowledge entry and the implementation of disinfection and isolation were compared between the parents of each group before and after intervention,and the recurrence rate of hand foot mouth disease was compared between the two groups after one year follow-up.Spss25.0 was used for statistical analysis.T-test was used for measurement data and χ2 test was used for counting data.T-test was used to analyze the effect of the same group before and after intervention.P<0.05 was statistically significant.Results:(1)Basic data results.Comparing the general information of the two groups of children and their parents,we can see that P>0.05,which means that the difference is not statistically significant,that is,the comparison of the two groups of data is comparable.(2)The correct rate of knowledge items of hand foot mouth disease was compared between parents.There was no significant difference in the accuracy rate of each knowledge item between the two groups(P>0.05).Six months after treatment,the accuracy of the knowledge items of the parents of the two groups of children with hand foot and mouth disease was compared.The results showed that there were significant differences in the correct rate of the knowledge items of"pathogen of hand foot mouth disease","infectious source of hand foot mouth disease","whether antibiotics can treat hand foot mouth disease","correct disinfection and isolation knowledge" and "severe manifestations of hand foot mouth disease" Significance(P<0.05).(3)Results of comparison of the implementation of hand foot mouth disease related disinfection and isolation among parents of children.There was no significant difference in the implementation of hand foot mouth disease related disinfection and isolation between the two groups of children’s parents at the time of treatment(P>0.05),but there was a significant difference in the implementation of hand foot mouth disease related disinfection and isolation between the two groups at 6 months after treatment(P<0.05).(4)Results of comparison between the two groups at the time of treatment and 6 months after treatment.The difference of the total scores of hand foot mouth disease related knowledge and family disinfection and isolation behavior between the two groups at the time of treatment and 6 months after treatment showed that the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).(5)The recurrence rate of HFMD was compared between the two groups one year later.The intervention group received family centered Internet plus health education.After one year follow-up,the recurrence rate of hand foot mouth disease was significantly lower than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusions:(1)"Internet plus" family centered health education can effectively improve parents’ knowledge about hand,foot and mouth disease.(2)"Internet plus" family centered health education can effectively regulate family disinfection and isolation.(3)"Internet plus" family centered health education can reduce the recurrence rate of hand,foot and mouth disease in children. | Keywords/Search Tags: | family centered, "Internet plus", hand foot mouth disease, health education, Effect assessment | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
