Objective: Compared with the general population,MAFLD is more common in T2 DM patients.Studies have shown that T2 DM is a risk factor for the development of MALFD.This article aims to study the current status of T2 DM combined with MAFLD and analyze related risk factors。Methods: A total of 968 patients with T2 DM in the Department of Endocrinology in our hospital were selected, and 1107 non-T2 DM patients in our hospital during the same time period were divided into four groups according to the presence or absence of T2 DM and MAFLD.General clinical data, laboratory indicators and related examination results were collected, and SPSS 23.0 statistics were used. The software conducts statistical analysis of data.Result:(1)There were 1107 cases in the non-T2 DM group,516 cases(47%)were men, with an average age of40.78±11.39 years old,and an average BMI of 24.10±3.63Kg/m2.There were 293 cases of MAFLD patients, and the detection rate of MAFLD was26%;the total number of cases in the T2 DM group was 968 cases There were 670 males(69%),average age 52.78±10.15 years, average BMI26.35±5.52 Kg/m2,748 patients with MAFLD,and the detection rate of MAFLD in T2 DM population was 77%.(2)The detection rate of MAFLD in the T2 DM group was significantly higher than that in the non-T2 DM group in different age groups and BMI groups;(3)There were 748 cases in the T2 DM combined with MAFLD group,515 males(69%),with an average age of 52.09±10.22 years old;the T2 DM non-MAFLD group totaled 748 cases 220 cases,152 males(69%),with an average age of 55.10±9.49 years;comparison between the two groups, the levels of age,BMI,SBP,DBP,Hb A1 c,SUA,FPG,TC,TG,HDL-C,ALT,AST,GGT Significant statistical difference(P<0.01),with laboratory indicators as independent variables and the presence or absence of MAFLD as dependent variables,a multivariate binary logistic regression analysis of T2 DM patients showed that waist circumference(OR 1.028,P value 0.005),TC(OR 1.333,P value 0.022),TG(OR 1.568,P value 0.001),ALT(OR 1.044,P value0.001)are risk factors for MAFLD in the T2 DM population. Conclusion:This study shows that 77% of T2 DM patients have MAFLD,which is higher than the ratio Non-T2 DM population;waist circumference,TC,TG,ALT in T2 DM patients are risk factors for MAFLD.
