Objective:To observe the distribution law of TCM syndromes and the law of risk factors of wake-up stroke, and to explore the similarities and differences between wake-up stroke and non-wake-up stroke,so as to enrich the TCM research of wake-up stroke and provide ideas for its prevention and treatment. Methods:The study was conducted in 704 newly diagnosed acute ischemic stroke patients who met the inclusion criteria and were hospitalized in the department of neurology at Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese medicine from 1 November 2018 to 31 October 2019.Patients were divided into wake-up stroke group and non-wake-up stroke group according to whether the onset of the disease occurred during sleep. To analyze the general situation of patients,TCM syndrome and the distribution of risk factors. Results:In this study, the incidence of wake-up stroke was 26.6%,mainly in male patients, the age of onset was 60-69 years old, autumn and summer were the peak seasons of wake-up stroke.1.TCM syndrome:Stroke syndrome is the main syndrome in acute stage of wake-up stroke, phlegm syndrome and blood stasis syndrome are common,fire-heat syndrome,qi-deficiency syndrome and yin-deficiency-yang-hyperactivity syndrome are less frequent, wind syndrome, phlegm syndrome and blood stasis syndrome are easy to appear simultaneously the combination of wind syndrome +fire-heat syndrome+phlegm syndrome, followed by wind syndrome+phlegm syndrome+blood stasis syndrome is the most common combination of three syndromes. There was a positive correlation between wind syndrome, phlegm syndrome, blood stasis syndrome and wake-up stroke.2.Risk factors:In the distribution of risk factors for wake-up stroke, hypertension was the most frequent occurrence, followed by coronary heart disease,male,age(≥65 years),OSA,hyperlipidemia,wake-up stroke is characteristic in the distribution of OSA and hyperlipidemia, and is positively correlated with the occurrence of wake-up stroke.3,The incidence of phlegm syndrome in male patients was higher than that in female patients:The incidence of wind syndrome and phlegm syndrome in OSA patients was higher than that in non-OSA patients;the incidence of qi deficiency syndrome in hyperuricemia patients was lower than that in hyperuricemia patients. Conclusion:In the acute stage of wake-up stroke, the main symptoms and signs of the patients are pathogenic factors and excess of pathogenic factors, the main symptoms and signs of which are wind syndrome, phlegm syndrome and blood stasis syndrome, the most common risk factors were hypertension, coronary heart disease,OSA and hyperlipidemia, which were characteristic in OSA and hyperlipidemia. In the relationship between TCM syndrome and risk factors, male patients had high incidence of phlegm syndrome,OSA patients had high incidence of wind syndrome and phlegm syndrome, and hyperuricemia patients had low incidence of qi deficiency syndrome.
