| Objective:In this study, two different therapies of acupuncture combined with ginger separated moxibustion in lumbosacral region and warming uterine moxibustion were used to treat patients with premature ovarian insufficiency. The difference of clinical efficacy between the two therapies was observed and compared,in order to provide theoretical basis and clinical guidance for the prevention and treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency. Methods:In this study,40 patients with premature ovarian insufficiency who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups:acupuncture combined with ginger separated moxibustion in lumbosacral region group and warming uterine moxibustion group, each group had 20 patients. The points for acupuncture of the two groups were same. The first group combined with ginger separated moxibustion in lumbosacral region, while the second group combined with warming uterine moxibustion. Both two groups were treated three times a week, one month for a course of treatment. After three courses, the scores of TCM symptoms and the level of FSH,LH and E2were observed.Results:1.After treatment, the two groups could both effectively improve the scores of TCM symptoms, and the group of acupuncture combined with ginger separated moxibustion in lumbosacral region group and acupuncture combined with warming uterine moxibustion group were effective in improving TCM symptom scores, and there was no significant difference between the two groups with statistical significance(P>0.05).2.After the treatment, the levels of FSH,LH and E2 in the two groups were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.The total effective rates of the two groups in the treatment of POI were 75%and77.78%respectively,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both methods can effectively improve the TCM symptom score and FSH,LH,E2 levels of POI patients, and the two methods have the same effect. |
