Clinical Study On The Method Of Tonifying Kidney,Nourishing Heart And Calming Mind In The Treatment Of Insomnia In Patients With Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3-4

Objective: Taking Yishen Yangxin decoction as the representative,the method of Tonifying Kidney,Nourishing Heart and Calming Mind was used to treat the patients with Chronic Kidney Disease in stage 3-4 complicated with Insomnia.By evaluating the clinical efficacy and safety of this subject,it is proved that the method of Tonifying Kidney,Nourishing Heart and Calming Mind can safely and effectively improve the sleep quality of patients,thus play a role in delaying the progression of Chronic Kidney Disease,and provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease by traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: In this study,67 patients with CKD3-4 complicated with Insomnia were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 34)and control group(n = 33)after 2weeks of elution treatment.The control group was given the basic western medicine treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease,and the experimental group was treated with Yishen Yangxin decoction in addition to the western medicine basic treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease(200ml in water decoction,1 dose a day after meal in the morning and evening).After 8 weeks of treatment,the differences of sleep quality(using Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index scale),serum creatinine(Scr),glomerular filtration rate(e GFR),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),hemoglobin(Hb),albumin(Alb)and TCM symptoms between the two groups were observed and statistically analyzed.Results: After a period of 8 weeks of treatment,the results of the randomly divided test group and the control group were analyzed.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in laboratory index,sleep quality score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences in serum creatinine,glomerular filtration rate,hemoglobin,albumin and sleep quality scores between the test group and the control group before and after treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Compared with the control group,the curative effect of the test group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.01 or P=0.01),and it was safe and reliable before and after treatment.Yishen Yangxin decoction has obvious advantages in improving TCM syndromes of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease,and there is significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).Conclusion:The method of Tonifying Kidney,Nourishing Heart and Calming Mind in the treatment of Insomnia in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 3-4 can improve the clinical symptoms of the patients with insomnia,improve the sleep quality,reduce serum creatinine(Scr),blood urea nitrogen(BUN),increase glomerular filtration rate(e GFR),hemoglobin(Hb),albumin(Alb).The method is safe and can delay the progression of chronic kidney disease.
