| Mand is the starting point of early childhood language intervention, which is closely related to the development of children’s communication, cognition and social emotion.Children with autism have some difficulties in initiating of mand, which can affect the development of children’s social communication skills,as well as their adaptation and integration with society. Therefore,it is necessary to teach demanding behaviors to children with autism.A large number of foreign empirical studies have proved that the mand of autistic children can be increased through teaching, which provides possible support for this study. Some foreign studies have used the Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children(TEACCH),Video Modeling, the Picture Exchange Communication System(PECS),Echoic Prompts and Behavior Chain Interruption Strategy(BCIS)to intervene the mand of autistic children.Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children(TEACCH),Picture Exchange Communication System(PECS)and Behavior Chain Interruption Strategy(BCIS)are proved to have good effect, and has good operability, but because most of empirical research to intervene in the laboratory setting, study has good effect immediately, generalization effect is relatively poor. Therefore, this study optimizes the teaching place, carries on mand teaching to the individual in the family setting, and the behavior chain interruption strategy is one of the natural situation teaching methods, which is often used in the natural situation. Therefore, this study used the behavioral chain interruption strategy to intervene in the family environment of autistic children to increase the number of mand in the life and learning of autistic children. In this study, three children with autism aged 3-6 years were selected as the teaching objects. The cross-subject multi-baseline design in a single subject experimental design was adopted. The independent variable was the behavioral chain interruption strategy, and the dependent variable was the mand "where is xxx?" The data collected were processed by visual analysis,inter-observer consistency analysis andsocial validity analysis.Based on the results of the study, the researchers asked "where is xxx? Discuss the effectiveness of mand " what is this/that? Explain the causes of spontaneous behavior. The results of the study suggest that the behavioral chain interrupt strategy requires children with autism to "where is xxx?" Behavior has high immediate, generalization and maintenance effects, while the results also show good social validity. Finally, the researchers summarize, discuss and analyze the results and limitations of the research,on this basis, the relevant research and teaching recommendations, for special education researchers and teachers to provide reference. |
