Clinical Study Of Gua Lou Tong Bian Decoction For Functional Constipation (Qi Stagnant Constipation Type)

Objective:Through analyzed the primary and secondary symptom scores of patients with functional constipation(Qi Stagnant Constipation),this paper observes the efficacy and safety of Gua Lou Tong Bian Decoction,and provides more clinical experience for traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of constipation.Methods:Collected 64 cases of the patients with diagnosis of qi stagnant in Zhengzhou large intestine anal disease hospital anus intestine clinic,from January 2018 to November 2018,using a random number table method,they were divided into treatment group and control group,32 cases in each group,treatment group was given Gua Lou Tong Bian Decoction oral,200 ml each time,2 times a day,the traditional Chinese medicine adopt Zhengzhou large intestine anal disease hospital currently unified pan-fried.The control group was treated with oral Chinese patent medicine Simo decoction(Hunan Hansen company limited by shares),2 bottles(20ml)each time,3 times a day.After two courses of treatment,the patients in the treatment group and the control group were observed and recorded their primary and secondary symptom scores before and after treatment,and the patients in the two groups had their vital signs,electrocardiogram,liver and kidney function,blood routine,urine routine and fecal routine plus occult blood test before and after treatment.SPSS20.0 was used for statistical analysis of the experimental data,to observe the improvement of symptom scores before and after medication in the two groups,and to analyse on the safety indicators and recurernce rate,and to compare the safety and long-term result of the two groups.Results:(1)In this study,a total of 4 cases of abscission occurred,2 cases in the treatment group and 2 cases in the control group.A total of 60 cases were actually included,and30 cases in the treatment group and control group;(2)In the treatment group,4 patientswere cured,15 patients showed more significant effect,10 patients showed significant effect,and 1 patient was ineffective.In the control group,1 patient was cured,9patients showed more significant effect,14 patients showed significant effect,and 6patients were ineffective.After the rank-sum test,the difference in clinical efficacy between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.008);(3)In terms of total symptom improvement(P=0.001),Defecation laborious(P=0.036),abdominal distension pain(P=0.040),tenesmus swelling feeling(P=0.042),defecation frequency(P=0.024),defecation time(P=0.040),defecation shape(P=0.041),a modern depression or anxiety or irritable(P=0.039),fullness in chest and belch frequency of symptom(P=0.048)improvement aspect of the patients in the treatment group were better than those in control group,borborygmus break wind(P=0.369),food less(P=0.741)improvements in symptoms of the patients in the two groups has no difference;(4)No gastrointestinal and drug adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the treatment,no abnormalities were found in the safety indicators;(5)The follow-up results showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group,and the difference of recurrence rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.045).Conclusion:Compared with the oral solution of Simo decoction,Gua Lou Tong Bian Decoction can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with qi stagnant,and the curative effect is better than that of Simo decoction,without increasing the incidence of adverse events,the safety is comparable,and the long-term efficacy is good,Therefore,the treatment scheme of Gua Lou Tong Bian Decoction for treating qi stagnant is worthy of promotion.
