Objective:To report three cases of pelvic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor(IMT),and the biological nature, treatment and prognosis of pelvic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor were discussed. Methods:Pelvic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor was diagnosed according to the pelvic imaging data and the results of postoperative pathological.Collect postoperative clinical data of patients, including symptoms, signs, imaging results, and discuss related biological characteristics, treatment methods, and prognosis of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor, including pathogenesis, pathophysiology, and related literature. Results:All three patients were diagnosed with pelvic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor.Case A relapsed 9 months after the first postoperative operation,18 months after the second postoperative operation, and 3 months after the third postoperative operation.Eventually, the patient died of surgery due to the third relapse.Case B relapsed 58 months after surgery and underwent a second operation.Currently, the patient is alive 7months after the second operation.Case C is currently at the first 45 months after surgery and the patient is alive. Conclusion : Although pelvic inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor is benign in morphology,it has a malignant tendency in biological behavior.Surgery is the first choice for the treatment of inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor. However, the scope of surgery is a research hotspot. At the same time, comprehensive treatment of tumors, such as glucocorticoids,non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and targeted therapy should be emphasized..Regular follow-up after surgery is a key measure to extend the life of patients.
