The Clinical Efficacy Observation Of Combining Atorvastain With Ezetimibe For Patients With Acute Ischemic Stroke

Objective: The aim of this experiment was about patients with acute ischemic stroke who use Atorvastatin and combining Atorvastatin with Ezetimibe for their therapy,compared with two groups’ Blood lipid change,m RS score,NIHSS score,LDL-C compliance rate,the recurrence rate of ischemic stroke and occurrence of severe adverse reactions to discuss this two schemes’ lipid-lowering effectiveness,safety and clinical prognosis effect for patients,and provide the theoretical basis for patients with acute ischemic stroke to choose and use lipid-lowering drugs.Method: A total of 140 patients with acute ischemic stroke admitted to the second affiliated hospital of Hainan medical college were collected,Patients were randomly divided to statin group(control group)according to the inclusion criteria: A total of 70 patients in Atorvastatin(20mg)group;Atorvastatin plus Ezetimibe group(experimental group): A total of 70 patients to use Atorvastatin(20mg)plus Ezetimibe(10mg),the change of Serum total cholesterol(TC),Triglyceride(TG),Low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),High-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)was monitored before and 6 months after treatment in each group.Recording each group’s LDL-C compliance after 6 months treatment(the extent of lipid reduction of LDL-C is reduce to half or less,or the rates of LDL-C in lower than 1.8 nmol/L);the recurrent rate of ischemic stroke and the incidence of adverse reactions were recorded in each group;Clinical relevance of patients in each group were monitored before and 6 months after treatment(Modified Rankin Scale(m RS)score and NIHSS score).Results: After 6 months of treatment,both two groups’ TC、LDL-C、TG、HDL-C are improved(P<0.05),Atorvastatin plus Ezetimibe group’s serum TC、LDL-C is more improved than Statin group(P<0.05).m RS scores and NIHSS scores were improved in both groups after treatment compared with before treatment,but the improvement of Atorvastatin combined with the Ezetimibe group was more obvious than that of the Atorvastatin group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of ischemic stroke in Atorvastatin combined with the Ezeimibe group was significantly lower than that in Atorvastatin group(P<0.05),The difference of adverse reaction rate between the two groups was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: For those patients with acute ischemic stroke,it is better to reducing lipid by combining Statin drugs with Ezetimibe,and it is also safer,the patient’s clinical prognosis is better.
