Study On Drug Regulation In Heping District, Shenyang

Drug is a special commodity,which can be used for disease prevention and treatment,but sometimes it may jeopardize people’s health.The responsibility of drug regulation department is not only to guarantee the quality of drug but also to ensure the safety of drug.Chinese government always pay close attention to drug administration and regulation work,hence generally,drug industry is in a relative standard state.But drug misadventures still occur from time to time,such as the case of illegal vaccines in Shandong that shocked the country,and the exposure of "ghost cities" of fake drugs in Tianjin.Due to the special characteristics of drugs,the occurrence of drug accidents will often cause serious damage to people’s lives and health.Therefore,drug regulatory departments at all levels are taking on important responsibilities.As a grass-roots drug regulatory department worker,I deeply feel that the performance of local drug regulation is not that satisfactory,various problems are present.The main problems can be summarized in several aspects:the resultant force has not yet formed;the regulation team needs to be strengthened;means of regulation are old and backward;knowledge of medicines is not widely available.In order to make government function better,drug regulation department has undergone several times of reform,especially the super-ministries reform in 2013,afterwards,drug regulation department has changed significantly in both staffing and leadership guarantee aspects.In face of the new situation and new problems,how to strengthen local drug regulatory construction and ensure the safety of drug requires more thinking.This study selected Drug Regulation Department in Heping District,Shenyang as the research object,summarized the existing drug regulation problems and analyzed the root cause,proposed the strategies to strengthen the local drug regulation department work,i.e.,getting things straight in drug regulation department,develop and improve regulatory documents.,leading drug companies taking more responsibility,guiding public opinions correctly.It is also proposed that drug regulation has a strong professionalism and is more suitable for specialized regulatory system.It is better to establishes an independent drug regulatory agency system from top to bottom,to regulate the specialized regulation of drug units involved.
