ObjectiveCervical SpondyIotic Radiculopathy,a common clinical disease based on degenerative changes,is severely disturbing people’s life and daily work.In this study,we observed the clinical efficacy of a combined therapy of compound manipulation of sarcous relaxation and spinal modulation and ordinary acupuncture in the treatment of CSR,in order to provide a capable therapy of CSR and other spinal-related diseases.MethodsSixty voluntary CSR patients recruited Socially from February 2019 to December 2019 were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to the proportion of 1:1.Participants in the treatment group were treated with combined therapy of compound manipulation of sarcous relaxation and spinal modulation and ordinary acupuncture and,the control group were treated with the identical ordinary acupuncture. The main acupoints of ordinary acupuncture were Jiaji acupoint,Tianzhu,Houxi,Shenmai and Xuanzhong. The needles were quickly inserted and were retained for 20 minutes for each treatment, and the needles were properly twirled, lifted and inserted every 10 minutes. The treatment group adopted compound manipulation of sarcous relaxation and spinal modulation combined with the same dentical acupuncture. After taking the appropriate body position and relaxing the whole neck,we stimulated the important areas of neck, adjusted cervical vertebra according to the palpation.Afterwards, the neck was relaxed properly once again. In the end,the same acupuncture was performed.Treatment was given once every 2 days for a total of 3 times.Simplified McGill pain scale,NorthwickPark neck pain scale(NPQ)and clinical efficacy criteria were used as main evaluation indexes before and after the treatment.Adverse reactions were recorded at any time for safety evaluation. The research data were inputted and analyzed by SPSS 26.0 data statistics software. Finally, the treatment results were discussed and summarized.Results1.Baseline comparison:there was not significant difference in age, course of disease, simplified McGill pain scale and NPQ score between two groups, indicating that the general data between the two groups were comparable.2.Comparison of pain scale:2 groups were both effective in reducing simplified McGill and NPQ score, and the treatment group improved the simplified McGill and NPQ score more significantly(P<0.01)after treatment.3.Comparison of curative effect:at the end of treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.7%,the one of control group was 73.3%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).ConclusionIt’s manifested that the combined therapy of compound manipulation of sarcous relaxation and spinal modulation and simple ordinary acupuncture can reduce the score of pain scale and improve symptoms, signs and activities of daily life in the treatment of CSR.The improvement in the treatment group is better than that in the control group to some extent.Compound manipulation of sarcous relaxation and spinal modulation is effective and suitable in the treatment of CSR.
