ObjectiveIn order to provide sufficient theoretical basis for the study,it’s necessary to summarize and sort out the related literature of insomnia and summarize the understanding of TCM and Western Medicine on the causes and treatment of insomnia.Using a randomized controlled trial,to explore the clinical effect and significance of "Yinqi Guiyuan" warming acupuncture for insomnia of deficiency of heart and spleen.Methods60 patients were divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with warm acupuncture, and the group of"Yinqi Guiyuan" was selected for treatment 3 times a week, treatment for 4 weeks;the control group was treated with alprazolam as needed for 4 weeks. The changes of sleep quality and syndrome were observed and recorded. After treatment,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and the traditional Chinese medicine symptom score before and after treatment were analyzed and compared, and the treatment effect of the two methods was evaluated.ResultsStatistical analysis of the general conditions of patients such as gender, age, course of disease, and the scale scores before treatment showed that there was no significant difference in the general conditions and scale scores of the two groups of programs(P>0.05).The performance is comparable. After the treatment, the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores of the patients before and after treatment were compared. There was a significant difference between the warming acupuncture group and the oral drug group before and after treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that both methods can improve the patient’ s sleep. The comparison also found that the difference was significant(P<0.05),suggesting that the warming acupuncture group was better than the control group in improving sleep quality.Comparing the traditional Chinese medicine symptom score before and after treatment, the warming acupuncture group and the oral medication group have significant differences in the improvement of the syndrome of heart and spleen deficiency(P<0.05),suggesting that both methods can improve the symptoms of heart and spleen deficiency. The difference between the groups was also significant(P<0.05),and warming acupuncture improved the symptoms significantly better than oral medication. The total effective rate of the warm acupuncture group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the oral drug group was 73.33%.The difference between the two was statistically significant(p<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group.ConclusionThis topic compares the clinical efficacy of "Yinqi Guiyuan" warming acupuncture in the treatment of insomnia of heart and spleen type with oral medications, respectively from the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),traditional Chinese medicine symptom score, and clinical efficacy of insomnia patients. The results can be seen that the "Yinqi Guiyuan" warming acupuncture and oral medicine have good clinical effects, both can improve sleep, and also show that warm acupuncture has more advantages in improving the sleep quality of patients with insomnia and improving the syndrome of heart and spleen deficiency. It is worth further research and promotion of the application of"Yinqi Guiyuan" warming acupuncture and providing better clinical treatment methods.
