| ObjectiyeParkinson’s disease(PD)is also called paralysis agitans,is a kind of the dopaminergic(DA)neurons degeneration and death of neurodegenerative diseases caused by,bradykinesia,dystonia,tremor and postural instability.The main clinical manifestation is slow motion and muscular rigidity.Since 1817,the American physician James Parkinson first recognized the disease,people have not stopped on the research and exploration of this disease,although the etiology,treatment,there is more awareness,but currently only slow the progress of the disease,can not cure the disease.The ancient Chinese medicine has a certain understanding of Parkinson’s disease,and describes it as "fibrillation disease " and " arrest ".It has made a great deal of explanation in the pathogenesis and treatment of the cause.With the development of modern Chinese medicine,Chinese medicine for this disease further study,different scholars from different angles to recognize the disease,TCM efficacy of this disease has been more and more sure,more and more experimental studies verified the curative effect and safety of traditional Chinese medicine treatment.The use of Guipi Decoction for treating qi and blood deficiency type of Parkinson’s disease,has a good curative effect.This study aimed at small sample randomized controlled trial,to observe the safety and efficacy of Guipi Decoction Treatment of Qi and blood deficiency Parkinson’s disease.MethodsThis study used a simple randomized controlled trial to include 60 cases of early and middle term patients who met the inclusion criteria in Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital during the past 2017-2018 years.They were divided into experimental group and control group in 60 cases.The control group was treated with Madopar treatment,the experimental group was treated with Madopar+ Guipi Decoction treatment.The course of treatment was 1 months.The results of MDS-UPDRS(second part,third part)and PDQ39 scale were recorded before and after treatment.Results(一)Comparison of treatment efficiency1.Efficiency of MDS-UPDRS Ⅱ:the efficiency of experimental group after treatment,effective in patients with 22 cases,8 cases were invalid,the effective rate was 73.3%;the control group after treatment,effective in 6 cases,24 cases were invalid,the effective rate was 20%,the difference was statistically significant(x2=17.14,P<0.01).There are obvious differences between the two groups were effective in treatment,the experimental group was significantly better than the control group,suggesting that Guipi Decoction plus Madopa Oral is superior to Madopa Oral in improving daily living and motor symptoms of patients.2.Efficiency of MDS-UPDRS Ⅲ:compared the efficiency of experimental group after treatment,25 cases were effective,5 cases were invalid,effective rate was 83.3%;the control group after treatment,effective in 8 cases,invalid in 22 cases,effective rate was 26.7%,the difference was statistically meaning(P<0.01),suggesting that Guipi Decoction plus Madopa Oral is superior to Madopa Oral in improving daily living and motor symptoms of patients.(二)Comparison of scale scoresThe scores of MDS-UPDRS Ⅱ and MDS-UPDRS Ⅲ in the experimental group and the control group after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(MDS-UPDRS Ⅱ:t experiment=13.26,Pexperiment=0.000,t control=2.63,Pcontrol=0.014;MDS-UPDRS Ⅲ:t experiment=13.51,Pexperiment=0.000,t control=7.16,Pcontrol=0.000).The difference of MDS-UPDRS Ⅱ score and MDS-UPDRS Ⅲ score before and after treatment in the experimental group was greater than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(MDS-UPDRS Ⅱ:t=3.91,P=0.000;MDS-UPDRS Ⅲ:t=3.66,P=0.001),suggesting that Guipi Decoction plus or subtraction combined with Madopa oral administration and Madopa oral alone can improve the daily life of patients.Quality and motor dysfunction symptoms,but the effect of Guipi Decoction plus Madopa oral is better than that of Madopa oral alone.The scores of PDQ39 scale in the experimental group and the control group after treatment were lower than those before treatment,and the difference was significant(t experiment=12.29,P experiment=0.000,t control=6.02,P control=0.000),but the difference of PDQ39 score in the experimental group before and after treatment was larger than that in the control group,the difference was significant(t=3.38,P=0.001).It is suggested that Guipi Decoction plus or minus Madopa can improve the quality of daily life of patients,but Guipi Decoction plus plus plus or minus Madopa is better than Madopa alone.(三)safety evaluationNo obvious abnormal changes were found in the safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment,suggesting that Guipi Decoction is safe in clinical application.ConelusionCompared with Madopa alone,Guipi Decoction plus Madopa has better curative effect and higher safety in treating Parkinson’s disease of deficiency of both qi and blood in early and middle stages,and can be further popularized in clinical application. |
