| Objective: With the rapid development of current social science and technology research,scientific research documents and patent documents,as documents containing the latest scientific and technological information,have important significance and value in practical research and use.This article intends to conduct a comprehensive analysis of related literatures on the research of artemisinin and its derivatives through literature measurement analysis methods to understand the research status,development trends,research results and current research problems of artemisinin and its derivatives.Provide theoretical guidance for further research in the field of vegetarians and their derivatives.By analyzing the patent information of artemisinin and its derivatives,we can understand the development status of the research and development technology of artemisinin and its derivatives at home and abroad,explore the core pharmaceutical companies,and dig out the core in the field of artemisinin and its derivatives Patent applicants and advantageous areas to adapt to technological development,etc.Methods: In this study,Web of Science and China Knowledge Network(CNKI)databases were used as the data source for bibliometric analysis.The relevant research literatures of artemisinin and its derivatives published from 1990 to 2019 were searched.Bibliometrics analysis and research on the volume of publications,countries and regions,publication institutions,authors and journal distributions,using Cite Space to conduct co-occurrence analysis and cluster analysis on the research topics in the literature,and find hot spots and preface research areas,while Perform a literature citation analysis of WOS to find highimpact literature,journals and authors in WOS.In this study,the inco Pat database was used as the data source for patent situation analysis.The patent documents related to artemisinin and its derivatives published from 1990 to 2019 were searched.The number of applications,application areas,application countries and organizations,applicants and technical branches were used in Excel.Analysis,and use Loglet Lab4 to predict the life cycle of patented technology,and use Ucinet social network analysis software to analyze the applicant’s cooperative network.Results: WOS-based literature analysis results of artemisinin and its derivatives:(1)A total of 9561 articles in this field were included in the WOS database from 1990 to 2019.(2)A total of 150 countries and regions published relevant research literature.The number of articles published in the United States ranks first,with a total of 2355 articles,accounting for 24.63%;China published1567 articles,ranking third,accounting for 16.39%.The top five countries are the United States,the United Kingdom,China,Thailand and Switzerland.(3)A total of 6474 institutions participated in the relevant research.Among the top 10 institutions,there are two each in the United States,the United Kingdom,Thailand,and Switzerland,and one each in China and France.(4)There are 950 authors who have published more than 10 articles,and the author with the highest amount of articles is WHITE NJ,which has 324 articles in total.The citation frequency of the highest cited author obtained through citation analysis is 2175 times.(5)9561 documents are distributed on 1,441 core publications.The top 10 publications are all high impact factor core journals.(6)The themes in the research field were divided into eight categories from 1990 to 2019,which are malaria(malaria),neurotoxicity(neurotoxicity),artemisinin(artemisinin),antimalarial activity(antimalarial activity),derivative(derivative),antimalarial(antimalarial),drug(drug),trioxane(trioxane).CNKI-based literature analysis results of artemisinin and its derivatives:(1)From 1990 to 2019,CNKI database included a total of 3427 articles in this field,and the total number of publications showed an upward trend year by year.(2)Statistics on the institutions where the authors of the papers are published.A total of 2336 institutions are conducting research in this field.The research institutions are mainly high-efficiency and research institutes.The top three in the total number of papers are the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Guangxi Chinese Medicine University and Chongqing Medical University.(3)CNKI has published papers in 1030 journals in this field.Eight of the top 10 journals are Peking University Chinese core journals,all with high impact factors and professional influence.(4)Chinese authors published a total of 1,576 articles in this field on WOS,distributed in 575 core publications,of which the institution with the highest total number of articles was the Chinese Academy of Sciences(CHINESE ACAD SCI).(5)The themes of CNKI in 1990-2019 are artesunate,Plasmodium falciparum,pathology,petroleum ether,suspension,gametophyte,abamectin,Tuyou and artemisinin,a total of 9 major class.The analysis results of foreign patent situation of artemisinin and its derivatives based on inco Pat:(1)At present,the number of patent applications for artemisinin and its derivatives is on the rise,and 2019 has just entered the maturity period of patent technology in this field;(2)The top 5 applicants for artemisinin and its derivatives are: SANOFI SA(Sanofi Pharmaceuticals),Shanghai Jiaotong University,Chinese Academy of Sciences Research,Huali Group and Bayer AG(Bayer);(3)Hot patents of major applicants Mainly focuses on the research and development of new preparation methods or pharmaceutical compositions of artemisinin and its derivatives;(4)The latest patents in this field also involve the research of artemisinin genetic engineering,anti-malarial applications and the extraction of intermediates in the preparation process,etc.;(5)The main research and development areas of artemisinin and its derivative patents are China and the United States;(6)The core of the current technology in this field is A61K31,which is the research and development of pharmaceutical preparations containing organic active ingredients.Analysis results of domestic patent situation of artemisinin and its derivatives based on inco Pat :(1)At present,the number of domestic patent applications for artemisinin and its derivatives is on the rise,and China has just entered the maturity period of patented technology in this field in 2019;(2)The main domestic patent applicants for artemisinin and its derivatives are: Shanghai Jiaotong University,Southwest University,Agricultural University,Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Institute of Chinese Materia Medica,Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences,Yuzhou Tianyuan Biotechnology Co.,Ltd.,Kun Pharmaceutical Group Co.,Ltd.and other companies,as well as individual applicants Luan Yunpeng;(3)Scientific research institutions are mainly focused on the research and development of artemisinin and its derivatives,and pharmaceutical companies are mainly focused on the development of synthetic drugs;(4)The main domestic R & D areas in this field are Shanghai,Guangdong and Jiangsu;(5)The core of domestic R & D technology is A61K31,which is the research and development of pharmaceutical preparations containing organic active ingredients.Conclusion: The research on artemisinin and its derivatives is currently in a mature stage of development.The overall amount of literature is relatively stable,the development speed is relatively stable,and it has a good development trend.Most key literature measurement indicators,such as the number of authors,the number of institutions,and the total number of journals,are on the rise.Although there are certain differences between domestic and international research topics and hotspot distribution,the current domestic research is gradually in line with international standards.The patent development trend of artemisinin and its derivatives generally shows an increasing trend.After analysis of the technology life cycle,it is found that it is currently in the mature stage of patent technology.The strength of scientific research in the field of artemisinin and its derivatives needs to be strengthened. |
