Objective:To investigate the family function,psychological resilience and self-care ability of elderly stroke patients in Yanbian area by using a questionnaire survey of stroke patients and their families in Yanbian area,and.to analyze the influence of social demographic characteristics on family function,psychological resilience and self-care ability of elderly stroke patients.To clarify the correlation between family function,psychological resilience and self-care ability of elderly patients with stroke,and to provide effective suggestions and methods for hospital and community nursing practice to restore family function,enhance psychological resilience and improve patients’ self-care ability.Methods:This study adopts the correlation study design in the non-experimental study,using the method of convenient sampling,selected from March to September 2019,Yanbian Grade 3A General Hospital diagnosed after treatment and discharged from the hospital for rehabilitation treatment and Yanji city 4 communities of elderly stroke patients were investigated by questionnaire,a total of 200 questionnaires were distributed,all of which were valid questionnaires.The main research tools are:general demographic data questionnaire,self-care ability scale(ESCA),psychological resilience simplified version(CD-RISC10),family intimacy and adaptability scale Chinese version.Spss22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the survey data,and the statistical significance of this study was P<0.05.In this study,the data were analyzed by spss22.0 statistical software.Results:(1)The score of family function of stroke patients in Yanbian area was(89.68±27.47),in which the scores of family intimacy and family adaptability were(44.86±16.39)and(44.83±14.41).There were significant differences in age,sex,payment method of medical expenses,marital status and education level(P<0.05).(2)The score of psychological resilience of stroke patients in Yanbian area was(27.77 ± 10.31),and there were significant differences in age,sex,education level,marital status and payment mode of medical expenses(P<0.05).(3)The score of self-nursing ability of stroke patients in Yanbian area was(101.97 ±30.53.)the scores of self-concept,self-nursing responsibility,self-nursing skills and health knowledge were(16.96±6.43),(15.15±2.42),(29.08±10.62)and(40.64±13.65)respectively.There were significant differences in age,education level,marital status,payment mode of medical expenses and chronic diseases(P<0.05).(4)The results of correlation analysis:there was a positive correlation between self-care ability and psychological resilience in elderly stroke patients(r=0.640,P<0.01),and between self-care ability and family function(r=0.525,P<0.01).There was a positive correlation between psychological resilience and family function(r=0.950,P<0.01).Conclusion:(1)The family function,psychological resilience and self-care ability of elderly patients with stroke in Yanbian area are better.(2)In terms of general demographic characteristics,age,sex,education level,medical expense payment method and marital status have influence on family function;age,sex,education level,marital status and medical expense payment method have influence on patients’ psychological resilience;age,education level,marital status,medical expense payment method and chronic diseases have influence on patients’self-care ability.(3)The stronger the self-care ability,the stronger the psychological resilience and the better the family function of the elderly stroke patients in Yanbian area.(4)Age,marital status,chronic diseases,primary school education and family function are the main influencing factors of self-care ability of elderly stroke patients in Yanbian area.
