Objective : Objective to analyze the correlation between TCM syndromes and hemodynamic indexes of renal artery in elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension.Method : A total of 200 elderly patients with simple systolic hypertension of Yin-Yang deficiency syndrome,liver-yang hyperactivity syndrome,yin-deficiency-yang hyperactivity syndrome and phlegm-blood stasis syndrome were enrolled in the study.Renal Doppler ultrasonography was performed to record the peak systolic velocity,end-diastolic velocity, resistance index and pulsatility index of the aorta and segment arteries.Resu Its:The RI and PI of main renal artery and segment artery were higher than normal value,PSV and EDV were lower than normal value,Yin-Yang deficiency syndrome and phlegm-blood stasis syndrome were different from other two groups. The RI of main renal artery and segment artery resistance index of Yin-Yang deficiency syndrome were higher than other three groups. The resistance index RI of the segment artery was higher than that of the two groups: Yin deficiency yang hyperactivity and liver yang hyperactivity. Conclusion: The hemodynamic changes of Yin-Yang deficiency syndrome and phlegm-blood stasis syndrome were the most obvious in ISH,which indicated that deficiency and phlegm were the key factors affecting renal hemodynamic changes caused by ISH.
