The Theory And Clinical Research Of Qi Ascending And Descending Theory In Treating Asthma

Objective:Through clinical research,this paper analyzes and summarizes the theory and clinical significance of qi ascending and descending theory in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma,so as to provide reference for the diagnosis and treatment of asthma.Methods:In this study,62 cases of patients with liver qi stagnation of asthma diagnosed by traditional Chinese medicine and typical acute attack of asthma diagnosed by western medicine were included.And the patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 31 patients in each group.The observation group was treated with sanaotang and xiaoyaosan on the basis of conventional western medicine,while the control group was treated with conventional western medicine for 14 days.Then the scores of TCM syndromes,the efficacy of TCM syndromes,ACQ6 score,ACT score and the number of hospitalization due to acute exacerbation were observed and compared between the two groups.Results:The observation group was superior to the control group in TCM syndrome score,TCM syndrome efficacy,and ACQ6 score.IN terms of single syndromes,the observation group was superior to the control group in terms of the correlation between wheezing,seizures and emotional factors,chest tightness,abdominal pain and sighing.There was no difference in ACT scores or number of hospitalizations between the two groups.Conclusion:Sanaotang and xiaoyaosan which composed of qi ascending and descending theory combined with conventional western medicine can effectively improve the symptoms of patients in the observatiom group.The treatment is safe and effective.
