Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Acute Sinusitis And Acute Damp Heat Syndrome By Yun PI Qu Shi Qing Re Fang

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Yunpi Qushi Qingre recipe in treating damp-heat syndrome of acute sinusitis in children.Methods: Fifty-eight cases were selected according to the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria.All cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with a ratio of 1:1.Twenty-nine cases in each group were treated with Biyuan Tongqiao Granule orally.The treatment group was treated with Yunpi Qushi Qingre Decoction orally for 2 weeks.The nasal symptoms,signs,systemic symptoms and signs of the children before and after treatment were observed.Paranasal sinus X-ray film and TCM syndrome differentiation index.Results: 1.Acute sinusitis in children mostly occurs in 6-14 years old,especially in 9-14 years old stage.2.After treatment,the total score of the treatment group decreased significantly(P < 0.01).Good results were achieved in the improvement of the main symptoms such as nasal obstruction,runny nose,headache,congestion of nasal mucosa,swelling of turbinate,snoring,tongue coating,tongue texture and stool(P < 0.05).3.After treatment,the total score of the control group decreased significantly(P < 0.05).Good results were achieved in the improvement of the main symptoms such as nasal obstruction,runny nose,headache,nasal mucosal congestion,paranasal sinus tenderness,snoring,tongue coating,tongue texture and stool(P < 0.05).4.After treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group in the overall effect(P < 0.05).In terms of single index,the treatment group was better than the control group in the treatment of runny discharge score and nasal mucosal congestion(P < 0.05).The control group was better than the treatment group in the treatment of tenderness in the paranasal sinus area(P < 0.05).The other observation indexes showed no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Yunpi Qushi Qingre Decoction has achieved good clinical efficacy in the treatment of acute sinusitis in children,and has guiding significance.
