| Objective: To observe the effect of Qingchang mixture enema on plasma motilin and interleukin-6(IL-6)before and after the treatment of adhesive ileus.Methods: Sixty patients with adhesive ileus included in the study were randomly divided into two groups.On the basis of conventional supportive treatment in western medicine,they were treated with enema(treatment group + Qingchang mixture,control group + soapy water).To observe the recovery of intestinal function of patients in the two groups(the time for bowel sounds to return to normal,the time for first exhaust,and the time for first defecation),motilin and IL-6 levels,the number of cases transferred to surgery,and the comparison of clinical symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese medicine scores.The data before and after treatment were statistically analyzed.Results: 1.The recovery time of intestinal rumbling,the first exhaust time and the first defecation time in the treatment group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P <0.01),and the recovery rate of intestinal function was significantly faster.2.After treatment,the levels of motilin and IL-6 were both increased and decreased in both groups(P <0.05).The changes of motilin and IL-6 in the treatment group after treatment were better than those in the control group(P < 0.05),with significant advantages over the control group.3.After one course of treatment,the clinical symptoms and signs of TCM in both groups were significantly improved(P <0.01);The score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P <0.05).4.The cure rate of patients in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusion: The application of Qingchang mixture enema in the treatment of adhesive ileus can restore the patient’s plasma motilin and IL-6 faster and better,improve the patient’s clinical symptoms and signs,and promote the recovery of intestinal function. |
