This paper aims to study the secondary metabolites of Talaromyces wortmannii LGT-4 and to carry out the chemical constituents and biological activities of the secondary metabolites. The modified Martin’s medium and corn medium were selected as fermentation medium respectively.22 compounds were isolated and purified by modern chromatographic separation methods. The structures of the isolated compounds was identified using modern spectroscopy. The isolated compounds was assayed for the inhibitory activity of monoamine oxidase, acetylcholinesterase, and phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase by using 96-well micropiate methods. The results are as follows:1.12 compounds of Talaromyces wortmannii LGT-4 cultured in modified Martin’s medium were isolated, purified and identified as Wortmannine H(1)、1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, dibuty ester(2)、4-hydroxynaphthalide(3)、(E)-6,7-dihydroxy-7-methyl-3-(prop-1-en-1-yl)-1,3,4,5,6,7-hexahydro-8H-isochromen-8-one(4)、N-(2-Phenylethyl)acetamide(5)、(E)-2-(hydroxymethyl)-3-(2-hydroxypent-3-enyl)phenol(6)、Cyclo-(Pro-Ile)(7)、Cyclo(L-Tyr-L-Leu)(8)、Cyclo-(L-Pro-L-Phe)(9)、Aspergillumarin B(10)、Deacetylisowortmin(11)、Chaetominine(12)respectively.2.10 compounds of Talaromyces wortmannii LGT-4 cultured in corn medium were isolated, purified and identified as Wortmannin C(13)、Monomethylsulochrin(14)、(2S,3S)-1,4-bis(4-methoxyphenyl)butane-2,3-diol(15)、β-amyrin(16)、β-1,15-Dihydro-8,10-diepi-chandonanthone(17)、Cyclo-(Pro-Leu)(18)、Deacetylisowortmin B(19)、Aspergillumarin A(20)、(2S,3R)-1,4-Di(4-methoxyphenyl)-2,3-butandiol(21)、Deacetylisowortmin A(22)respectively.3.The activity of anti-monoamine oxidase,anti-acetylcholinesterase,and antiphosphatidylinositol 3-kinase of 21 compounds was determined. The results showed that Deacetylisowortmin B(19)Aspergillumarin A(20)had moderate anti-monoamidase activity with IC50 values of 45.63μM and 48.94μM.Cyclo-(Pro-Ile)(6),Aspergillumarin A(20)and Deacetylisowortmin A(22)had potent anti-acetylcholinesterase activity with IC50 values of 11.76μM,13.41μM and 24.51μM respectively.Only Wortmannin C(13)exhibited a weak activity against phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase.The remaining compounds showed no significant activity against phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase.
