Objective: To provide morphological basis for the clinical treatment of maxillary first permanent molar.Methods: 35 maxillary first molar,mesial buccal root interception,embedded in wax cylinder block.Model Micro-CT scanning,combined with three-dimensional image reconstruction software Mimics10.01 obtained.Root canal morphology three-dimensional reconstruction and classified according to Vertucci type.Calculate the number of different areas of the root canal,root canal orifices calculate the distance of MB and MB2.Measurement and calculation MB,MB2 bifurcation convergence position and angulation;root canal bent position,three-dimensional curved angles.Calculate the number of apical foramen and direction;apical diameter;apical delta probability.The results of measurement data and descriptive statistics.Results: In 35 samples,genotyping of 13 species of root canal,press Vertucci type,maximum probability TypeI.Root canal opening to the probability of a single root canal up to 58.9%.MB-MB2 root canal orifices distance of 1.64 ± 0.84 mm.Probability of double root canal throughout the root canal was 57.2%.MB,the probability of MB2 confluent 41.2%,52.9% probability bifurcation.MB and MB2 confluence 3.26 ± 1.80 mm from the beginning,angled to 23.7 ± 13.2 °;when the bifurcation from the root canal orifices distance 4.30 ± 3.18 mm,angled to 31.0 ± 18.1 °.MB first curved root canal root canal orifices located at 3.54 ± 0.90 mm,three-dimensional bending angle of 24.29 ± 10.16 °.The average number of apical opening is 2.8.MB,probability MB2 apical side opening is 56.9%,the largest opening probability to lingual.MB,MB2 apical opening to the apical dissection distance was 0.92 ± 0.75 mm.The average diameter of the apical foraman was 0.20 ± 0.12 mm.Conclusion: Micro-CT can accurately reconstruct the three-dimensional anatomy of the root canal,especially with the measurement software can combine the root canal morphology for numerical analysis.
