| Objective To investigate the clinicalpathological characteristics, risk factors and prognosis of thyroid cancer patients with breast cancer history. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological data of 152 cases of thyroid cancer patients with breast cancer history between 2006 and 2016.37 cases were synchronous thyroid and breast cancers;115 cases were metachronous breast and thyroid cancers, for 99 patients with thyroid carcinoma after breast carcinoma, for 16 patients with breast carcinoma after thyroid carcinoma. And 456 patients with single thyroid cancer were treated as control controls. The Clinicalpathological characteristics, risk factors and prognosis of each group were compared. Results Of the 139 patients who were followed up,5 cases recurrence ormetastasis(3 cases distant metastasis and 2 local metastases). Two patients died of breast cancer. The blood TGAb and TPOAb levels were significantly higher in patients with thyroid cancer with breast cancer than in the single thyroid cancer group.Lymph node metastasis was also significantly higher(42.76%vs31.57%,p=0.012).The most common patients were 45 to 55 years old(63,41.45%).Two groups of patients in the TC confirmed age, estrogen exposure time,BMI,tumor size, multifocal,Extrathyroid extension, recurrence rate and the blood,FT4,TSH,,TG,no statistically significant difference were observed. The tumor diameter was larger(1.17+1.02vs0.89+0.67,p< 0.05),and the rate of Extrathyroid extension was higher(60.00%vs41.17%,p < 0.05)in Overweight patients of the cancer group. Conclusion 1.45 to 55 years old(63,41.45%)is the most common age in thyroid cancer patients with breast cancer history,Lymph node metastasis is higher.,BMI > 24 overweight patients with tumor diameter larger,Extrathyroid extension, rate is higher.2.The abnormal blood TGAb and TPOAb level of patients with thyroid cancer should not only be considered hashimoto’s thyroiditis, but also the breast cancer. |
