In recent years,heart rate variability(HRV)analysis is one of the most important methods to study the variety of heart rate.HRV is an important indicator that reflects the autonomic nervous function and cardiac activity is normal or not.The paper introduces a design of Android app which can perform the analysis of heart rate variability.Users can experience the daily ECG monitoring function in a more convenient way,and have a better and more timely understanding of their ECG related health indicators.Firstly,this paper introduces the ECG and heart rate variability in basic theory,t hen introduces overall system design program.The chip-related parameters of th e hardware module of system,communication protocol and ECG data packet format o f BMD101 chip is also presented.The system software module design scheme is al so given.Then the linear and nonlinear analysis methods and related indicators of heart rate variability is studied,and the software is developed based on the Android platform.Finally,based on the analysis of relevant indexes of heart rate vari ability,the parameters such as respiration rate,heart rate,heart rate range,and heart r ate health are studied in order to reflect the heart health.In addition,the software is also responsible for saving and viewing of ECG database.
