The Clinical Efficacy Of Autologous Fat Graft For The Treatment Of Facial Localized Scleroderma

Purpose : The clinical data of 8 patients with localized facial scleroderma treated by autologous fat transplantation in the Department of plastic surgery of the first Bethune Hospital of Jilin University from December1,2018 to December 31,2021 were retrospectively analyzed to explore the clinical effect of autologous fat transplantation in improving facial appearance in the treatment of facial LS.At the same time,to explore the feasibility of using VISIA skin detector to evaluate the improvement of skin texture before and after treatment.Method: The clinical data of 8 patients with facial localized scleroderma treated by autologous fat transplantation in the Department of plastic and Cosmetic surgery of the first Bethune Hospital of Jilin University from December 1,2018 to December 31,2021 were collected.The seventh generation VISIA skin detector was used to take pictures and detect the skin of the patients before and after treatment.The VISIA3 D observer function was used to select three marked points with the same position on the high-definition photos before and after operation to generate color images,and PS image analysis function was used to generate red / blue pixel data(red indicates bulge,blue indicates depression).All patients filled in FACE-Q satisfaction scale before and after operation.SPSS26.0 software was used to analyze the data.Result: The patients were followed up for 4-7 months,with an average follow-up of 6.19 months.The results of FACE-Q satisfaction questionnaire showed that all patients were highly satisfied with the categories expressed by each sub-questionnaire,and the results were statistically significant.VISIA data and 3D observer results showed that the wrinkle and texture data of all patients after fat filling were significantly higher than those before treatment,and the results were statistically different.According to the FACE-Q satisfaction questionnaire to evaluate patient satisfaction,all patients have high satisfaction with the categories expressed by each sub-questionnaire,and the results are statistically different.Conclusion: Autologous fat transplantation in the treatment of facial localized scleroderma has obvious advantages over traditional surgical treatment.Autologous fat transplantation in the treatment of facial localized scleroderma can achieve satisfactory clinical results and greatly improve the quality of life and mental health of patients.VISIA skin detector can objectively evaluate the improvement of skin texture in patients with LS,and provide reference and basis for clinicians to evaluate the clinical effect and treatment plan of autologous fat transplantation in the treatment of facial localized scleroderma.
