Objective: With the global warming, the incidence of heat stroke has increased year by year so that heat stroke has been attracted the attention by clinical experts.Hainan Province is located in the tropics, with high temperature and humidity throughout the year. The relationship between heat stroke and temperature and humidity in Hainan Province in the past ten years was analyzed retrospectively. The clinical signs and laboratory date of two types of heat stroke were analyzed.According to its characteristics of heat stroke,it can give our guidelines in scientific prevention and treatment in Hainan Province. We also hope to reduce the incidence of heat stroke in the future. Methods: There are 177 cases of heat stroke collected in 8 different regions of Hainan Province in recent ten years. At the same time, the average temperature and humidity of Hainan Province recorded by the national greenhouse data system in the same period were collected.Pearson correlation analysis was used in 177 patients with the incidence of the Two-dimensional Gaussian distribution and the average temperature and relative humidity of month/year.The clinical and laboratory data of 122 patients with different types were compared and analyzed.result:Part Ⅰ: A total of 177 patients with heat stroke in Hainan Province in the past decade:1.The number of patients of heat stroke was positively correlated with annual mean temperature(r = 0.801,P = 0.005)and monthly mean temperature from January to December(r = 0.797,P = 0.002).2.The number of patients of heat stroke was negatively correlated with the average relative humidity from January to December(r=-0.650,P = 0.022).There was no correlation between the number of patients and the annual average relative humidity(r =-0.172,P = 0.634).Part two: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, there were 122 cases heat stroke collected with complete data: there were 41 cases of classical heat stroke and 81 cases of exertional heat stroke.1.The comparison of classical and exertional heat stroke: There were significant differences in age, disease outcome, hospital stay, previous chronic disease, native place and occupation(P<0.05);Another indicators(gender, vital signs, consciousness, complications, etc.)were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).2.The comparison of laboratory date between classical and exertional heat stroke patients: There were significant differences in RBC,HGB,HCT,UA,CA,PT,PTINR,APTT,ALT,AST,CK-MB and CRP(P < 0.05);Another indexes(Cr,BUN,K,Na,Cl,WBC,PLT,PCT,CK,CTNI,FIB,total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, indirect bilirubin, etc.)were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.The higher the monthly average temperature and the lower the monthly average relative humidity in Hainan Province are,the more people suffered from heat stroke; The higher the annual average temperature is,the more people suffer from heat stroke; There was no significant correlation between annual average relative humidity and the number of heat stroke patients.2.The patients with exertional heat stroke are mainly in young adults, strong physical activity and working outsiders;Classical heat stroke patients are mainly in the elder with choric diseases and the residents with relatively poor living environment.3.The incidence of exertional heat stroke happen more quickly, increased blood concentration and acute organ injury, which are more obvious.4.Compared with classical heat stroke, exertional heat stroke are usually younger, quickly recovery, short hospital stay and better outcome.
