Objective: To investigate the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration combined with primary closure for patients suffered from choledocholithiasis with common diameters of common bile duct(CBD),to provide references for clinical work. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted.A clinical data of 120 patients of choledocholithiasis underwent the laparoscopic common bile duct exploration(LCBDE)combined with primary closure in the Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University from January 1st 2014 to November 30 th 2019 was collected.44 males and 76 females, age from 22 to 88,and the average age was 57.2.All patients were divided into two groups, the dilated group(the diameter of CBD >8mm)and the common group(the diameter of CBD ≤8mm).Observation indicators included operating time, intraoperative bleeding, postoperative hospitalization time and the postoperative complications. Results: There was no significant difference in operating time(common group vs dilated group(106.0(87.3,146.3)min vs 112.0(90.5,134.5)min,P>0.05),intraoperative bleeding(20(10,30)ml vs 20(10,20)ml,P>0.05),postoperative hospitalization time(7(5.3,9.0)d vs7(5,7)d,P>0.05)and the postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion: By experienced surgeons,LCBDE with primary closure is safe and effective for patients of choledocholithiasis with common diameters of CBD(≤8mm).
