Research On Allocation Of Children’s Medical And Health Resources In Nanjing And Policy Recommendations

Children are the future of the nation.Children’s health is related to family happiness and national future.Increasing the supply of children’s medical and health resources is an important part of the construction of healthy China and the development of health and family planning.It is of great significance to protect and improve people’s livelihood and improve the wellbeing of the public.Based on the introduction of the current situation of the allocation of medical and health resources for children in Nanjing,this paper analyzes the existing problems and deficiencies:the total amount of resources is still in short supply and the allocation of resources is unbalanced,the distribution largely privileged in metropolitan areas rather than regional areas.The allocation of children’s medical resources in Nanjing is still in short supply.The strong burden of children’s medical treatment and the major conflicts between the demand and supply of children’s medical services has been manifested in the unbalanced allocation of children’s medical resources,the lack of total children’s medical resources and the unbalanced supply and demand of pediatric services as a part of children’s medical services,imperfect supply system of children’s medical services and the single form of children’s medical supply.Furthermore,based on the specific investigation and comparative analysis,this paper proposes policy suggestions on the optimization of the allocation of medical resources in Nanjing Children’s Hospital from two perspectives: rational allocation children’s medical services and optimization of children’s medical services supply.In terms of allocation of resources,it is suggested that financial investment in primary medical institutions and performance of medical staff should be increased,the planning of children’s medical resources should be strengthened,and the developing mode of professionalism of pediatric doctors should be established.In terms of resource supply,it is necessary to construct a longitudinal diagnosis and treatment system for children,establish a diversified pediatric medical service supply system,establish an "Internet +" child health service mode,and promote the construction of pediatric medical consortium.As a result,we can promote the optimal allocation of medical and health resources for children in Nanjing,and truly improve the supply capacity of medical services and improve the service level.
