| Objective:To summarize the clinical characteristics of trauma patients in emergency department and analyze the risk factors related to death and to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of traumatic diseases. Methods:A retrospective study was conducted to select the clinical data of trauma patients admitted in our hospital from January 1,2017to December 31,2019.The epidemiological characteristics of clinical data such as basic information, diagnosis and treatment process and out come were analyzed.SPSS 23 was used to analyze the data. The line chart model is constructed based on the results of multi-factor logistic regression analysis. Results:A total of 679 patients were included in this study, including 488 males and 191 females. The mean age was 45.82±18.39years.Traffic injury(60.5%)was the main cause of injury. The second was falling injury(14.9%).Limbs(66.9%)were the most common injury sites.Multiple injuries were 390 cases(57.4%);The peak time of injury is 9-11,16-18 and 20-21;The peak time of emergency is 12-14and 19-23;A single site had the highest risk of death from severe trauma;Univariate analysis results showed that blood pressure, respiratory rate, shock index,Lac,PO2,Fi O2 and ISS scores were related risk factors for death,Lac,PO2 and ISS scores were independent risk factors for death. The above risk factors were used to build a prediction model and demonstrated by a histogram.ROC Curve analysis showed that the Area under the Curve(AUC)of the histograph model in predicting the risk of death of trauma patients was 0.897,and the predictive power was significantly higher than that of LAC(AUC=0.853),PO2(AUC=0.680)and ISS score(AUC=0.768),all P<0.001.The model calibration diagram shows that the predicted probability is consistent with the actual probability. Conclusion:Young and middle-aged male patients were the mainly population.Summer and autumn are the seasons with a high incidence of admission of trauma patients through emergency approach in our hospital, and the peak periods of emergency trauma patients are 12 to14 and 19 to 23.The most common site of trauma was the extremities, and the main cause of injury was traffic injury.Lac value,Pa O2 and ISS score were independent risk factors of death. |
