| Objective:Shoulder arthroscopic rotator cuff repair surgery is a way to treat rotator cuff injuries.However,there is no unified understanding of the effects of early exercise and brace fixation on the curative effect.This article compares the effects of the two options after surgery on the shoulder joint function,range of motion and re-tear rate.Methods:To search the CNKI,Wanfang Medical Network,China Biomedical Literature Service System,Pub Med,Embace,Cochrane Library from database building to March 9,2021 for the prospective randomized controlled studies about the curative effect of early exercise and brace fixation after rotator cuff repair surgery.To evaluate the quality of the literature by using the Rev Man 5.3 software provided by the Cochrane Library.And to extract the Constant score,VAS score(visual analogue pain score),SST score,shoulder mobility(abduction,external rotation,abduction and external rotation,flexion),re-tear rate,healing rate and other information by the inclusion and exclusion criteria,and then to perform Meta-analysis on the data by using Rev Man 5.3 software.Results:1.A total of 9 articles with 770 patients were included for analysis.2.There was no statistical significance in Constant score,VAS score,and SST score between the early exercise group and the brace fixation group aftert 12 months and 6 months of the surgery(p>0.05);There was no statistical significance in the abduction,external rotation,abduction and external rotation,flexion after 12 months of the surgery,and the abduction and external rotation after 6 months of the surgery(p>0.05);The early exercise group had better shoulder mobility of abduction(MD=2.52,95%CI: 0.68-4.37,P=0.007),external rotation(MD=2.20,95%CI: 0.88-3.52,P=0.001),flexion(MD=1.42,95%CI:0.41-2.44,P=0.006)compared with the brace fixation group after 6 months of the surgery;There was no statistical significance in the rate of re-tear between the two groups after surgery(p>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with the postoperative brace fixation,the early exercise program has a better recovery trend of the shoulder joint mobility after 6 months of the surgery.There is no difference in the shoulder joint function scores.The difference of the shoulder joint mobility between the two groups no longer exists with the final follow-up by 12 months.Both have no difference on the effect of the re-tear rate of the rotator cuff after surgery. |
