Objective:The primary purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of thyroid diseases among patient, especially Hashimoto’s thyroiditis(HT)associated with oral lichen planus(OLP).Secondly, the reasons for the high prevalence of OLP associated with HT were analyzed from the aspects of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Finally, the differential genes between HT associated with OLP and OLP were screened by transcriptome sequencing method.Method:1.The cross-sectional study was used and medical history of thyroid and auxiliary examination information of OLP patients were collected.Statistical analysis was did on the prevalence of different thyroid diseases in OLP patients. The reasons for the high prevalence of OLP associated with HT were analyzed from two aspects of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.2.The related auxiliary examination information with thyroid of HT patients without OLP were collected by case-control study, and compared with those of HT patients with OLP in previous studies to explore the difference between them.3.Using transcriptome sequencing method,we collected oral mucosa tissues of OLP patients of qi and blood deficiency with and without HT,analyzed the gene differences and screened the differential genes.Results:1.The prevalence of HT in OLP patients is significantly higher than that in the general population, and the prevalence of HT in female OLP patients is higher than that in male OLP patients. The prevalence of HT in OLP patients of qi and blood deficiency is higher than that in other types.2.The level of TGAb in female HT patients with OLP was significantly higher than that in HT patients without OLP.3.Transcriptome sequencing results showed that the expression of FCGR3 B,MS4A1 genes and complement receptor mediated signaling pathway were up-regulated while IGHG4 and FABP4 genes were down-regulated in HT associated with OLP of qi and blood deficiency.Conclusion:1.Female OLP and OLP patients of qi and blood deficiency should be screened for thyroid diseases, especially HT.2.TGAb should be monitored in female HT patients with OLP.3.FCGR3 b,MS4A1 genes and complement receptor mediated signaling pathway were important in the mechanism of HT associated with OLP of qi and blood deficiency.
