Effect Of Jinmai Wendan Decoction On Glucose And Lipid Metabolism And Intestinal Flora In Type 2 Diabetes Patients With Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Purpose:To observe the effect of Jinmai Wendan Decoction on glucose and lipid metabolism and intestinal flora in patients with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome of type 2 diabetes.Methods:Collect 60 patients with type 2 diabetes with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome that me-et the diagnostic criteria,according to the body mass index(BMI),30 patients were divided in-to normal weight group(18.5kg/m~2≤BMI<24.0kg/m~2)and overweight group(24.0kg/m~2≤BMI<28.0kg/m~2).Both groups were treated with Jinmai Wendan Decoction in addition to co-nventional Western medicine treatment for 12 consecutive weeks.Fasting blood glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2h PG),glycosylated hemoglobin(Hb A1c),trigly-ceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),gastrin,glucagon and intestinal microflora were detected at week 0 and week 12,respectively.The changes of the two groups before and after treatment were analyzed and compared.Results:1.Blood lipids:after treatment,TG,TC and LDL-C of normal weight group and overw-eight group were decreased(P<0.05),HDL-C had no significant change(P>0.05);overweight group was better than normal weight group in reducing TC and LDL-C(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in reducing TG between the two groups(P>0.05).2.Blood glucose:after treatment,FPG,2h PG and Hb A1c of normal weight group and overweight group were decreased(P<0.05);overweight group was better than normal weight group in reducing FPG,2h PG and Hb A1c(P<0.05).3.Glucagon:after treatment,there was no significant decrease in glucagon in normal weight group and overweight group(P>0.05).4.Gastrin:after treatment,the gastrin values of normal weight group and overweight gr-oup increased(P<0.05);overweight group was better than normal weight group in increasing gastrin level(P<0.05).5.Intestinal flora:after treatment,the number of enterococci in normal weight group and overweight group decreased,the number of Escherichia coli in normal weight group also decreased(P<0.05).The number of Number of Clostridium tenuiflora in normal weight group and overweight group increased(all P<0.05).The number of firmicum,Bacteroides,Lactoba-cillus and Bifidobacterium in the two groups and the number of Escherichia coli in overweig-ht group had no significant change(P>0.05).6.Safety:During the period of taking Jinmai Wendan Decoction,there was no obvious liver and kidney function damage and adverse reactions.Conclusion:1.Jinmai Wendan Decoction Combined with conventional western medicine can reduce the levels of TC,LDL-C,FPG,2h PG,Hb A1c and increase the level of gastrin in overweight patients with type 2 diabetes with phlegm stasis syndrome,and the effect is better than that in normal weight patients.2.Jinmai Wendan Decoction Combined with conventional western medicine can reduce the number of enterococci and Escherichia coli in overweight patients with phlegm stasis syndrome of type 2 diabetes,and the effect is better than that in normal weight patients.3.Jinmai Wendan Decoction has clear safety in the treatment of type 2 diabetes patients with different weight of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.
