| Objective:To observe the treatment of curved fenestration combined with incision and thread-drawing drainage for high posterior horseshoe perianal abscess, and to evaluate its advantage and disadvantage.Method:84 cases with high posterior horseshoe perianal abscess were randomly divided into two groups:the observing group and the control group randomly with either group having 42 cases.Curved fenestration combined with incision and thread-drawing drainage was used in the observing group while radial multi-incision thread-drawing drainagewas used in the control group.Bleeding volume in surgery, operation time, average soaking time of wound dressing after dressing change, healing time of incision, total effective rate, surgery complication, and pain scores of the first, fourth, seventh postoperative day were observed and compared between the two groups.Result:There were significant difference between the observing group and the control group in the operation time, average soaking time of wound dressing after dressing change, and pain scores of the fourth postoperative day(P<0.05).While there were no significant difference in bleeding volume in surgery, healing time of incision, total effective rate, surgery complication, and pain scores of the first, seventh postoperative day between the twogroups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Compared with radial multi-incision thread-drawing drainage, curved fenestration combined with incision and thread-drawing drainage using the high frequency electrotome can obviously reduce operation time, avoid taking stitches and its pain.Curved incision is wider than radial incision, which benefits thoroughly removing contents of the abscess cavity in surgery and changing the dressing, effectively avoid forming cavity and poor healing, reducing the pain of dressing change.Thecurved fenestration combined with incision and thread-drawing drainage hassignificant advantage over radial multi-incision thread-drawing drainage on the management of high posterior horseshoe perianal abscess, which isworthy of clinical promotion and application. |
