Objective:Through the measurement and correlation analysis of sagittal parameters of cervical vertebrae in middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic cervical pain and those without cervical pain, the correlation between different sagittal parameters of cervical vertebrae in middle-aged and elderly patients without cervical pain and middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic cervical pain was studied.and the correlation between cervical sagittal parameters and chronic cervical pain was compared between groups. Methods:A total of 42 middle-aged and elderly people without cervical pain who were treated or examined in our hospital from September 2018 to October 2020 were analyzed retrospectively.the sagittal parameters of cervical vertebra, chest 1 tilt angle(T1s),cervical tilt angle(NT),thoracic entrance angle(TIA)and cervical curvature of C2-7(C2-7Cobb)were measured. The correlation between cervical sagittal parameters was analyzed by pearson correlation coefficient, and the linear regression equation was established.Furthermore,44 middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic cervical pain in our hospital from September 2018 to October 2020 were analyzed retrospectively.the sagittal parameters of cervical vertebra were also measured, including thoracic 1 tilt angle(T1s),cervical oblique angle(NT),thoracic entrance angle(TIA)and cervical curvature of C2-7(C2-7Cobb).The correlation between cervical sagittal parameters was analyzed by pearson correlation coefficient.Compared with the sagittal parameters of cervical vertebrae in middle-aged and elderly people without cervical pain, the correlation between sagittal parameters of cervical vertebrae and the occurrence of chronic cervical pain was studied. Results:In the middle-aged and elderly people without neck pain, the values of T1S,TIA,NT,C2-7Cobb,C2-7Cobb and C2-7Cobb were 23.96 °,75.66 °±7.96 °,56.67 °±8.55 °,15.54 °±4.51 °and 0.3605,respectively,suggesting that there was a weak positive correlation between these two parameters, and the linear regression equation was C2-7Cobb=0.6449T1S+13.97.The correlation coefficients between TIA and T1S,TIA and C2-7Cobb were 0.751 and 0.412,respectively,indicating that there was a strong correlation and a moderate correlation between them.In patients with chronic neck pain, the values of T1S,TIA,NT,C2-7Cobb,T1S and C2-7Cobb,TIA,NT,C2-7Cobb and T1S were23.10 °±7.93 °,74.98 °±8.18 °,51.87 °±5.97 °,11.03 °±4.80 °,0.61(p < 0.05,0.05)and 0.726(p < 0.05),respectively.It is suggested that there is a strong correlation between T1s and C2-7Cobb and T1S and TIA in middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic neck pain.In the comparison between middle-aged and elderly patients without neck pain and middle-aged patients with chronic neck pain,it was found that T1s and C2-7cobb were decreased, and T1s,C2-7Cobb and TIA(p were statistically significant, but NT,sex and age were not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Compared with the middle-aged and elderly people without neck pain, the middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic neck pain had smaller T1s and C2-7Cobb,suggesting that the decrease of T1s and C2-7Cobb may be related to the occurrence of chronic neck pain.2.There is a positive correlation between T1s and C2-7Cobb in the sagittal parameters of cervical vertebrae in middle-aged and elderly people without cervical pain, and the correlation coefficient is 0.3605 indicating a weak correlation, and a linear regression equation can be listed. There was no correlation between T1s and NT.There are strong and moderate correlations between TIA and T1S and C2-7Cobb,respectively.3.There was a strong correlation between T1s and C2-7Cobb and TIA in sagittal parameters of cervical vertebrae in middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic neck pain, but there was no correlation between NT and C2-7Cobb and T1S.
