ObjectiveBased on the Pender health promoting model, this paper systematically analyzes the influencing factors of health promotion lifestyle in knee osteoarthritis patients. And the environmental factors were included to test the effect of environmental factors on health-promoting lifestyle,to explore controllable factors, and to provide the basis for the formulation of health promotion strategies and health education programs for knee osteoarthritis patients.MethodsThis study is a cross-sectional study.Using convenient sampling method,we selected patients with knee osteoarthritis in bone and joint surgery clinics and wards in two tertiary Grade A general hospitals from July to November 2020 to collect data.Research tools include:general data questionnaire, osteoarthritis index quantity scale, disease cogeness questionnaire for knee osteoarthritis patients, social support scale,Hamilton anxiety scale,Hamilton depression scale, environmental areas in the WHO quality of life brief table and health promotion lifestyle scale II.Apply Excel software and SPSS21.0 software for data entry and analysis, including descriptive analysis,t test, single factor variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and multivariate linear regression analysisResults1.This study included 252 knee osteoarthritis patients, the average age was(67.49±8.72),where 73.4%were females.Anxiety score(7.13±4.90),depression score(5.42 ±1.13),osteoarthritis index(96.13±37.29),disease cognition(13.73 ±3.17),self-efficacy(5.42±1.13),social support(37.55)and environment(26.94).The health-promoting lifestyle score(117.00±15.34)2.Single factor analysis showed that the health-promoting lifestyle of patients with knee osteoarthritis had significant differences in marriage, education, residence, residence, medical payment style, per capita monthly income, joint location, imaging grade,self-rated health status, and previous related behaviors(P<0.05).Anxiety and depression were all negatively correlated with health-promoting lifestyle;in the osteoarthritis index, pain and difficulty in carrying out daily life were negatively correlated with health-promoting lifestyle;social support, disease cognition,self-efficacy and environment were all positively correlated with health-promoting lifestyle.3.Multiple linear regression analysis of health promoting lifestyle in patients with knee osteoarthritis showed that education, prior related behavior, social support, disease cognition,depression,self-efficacy,and environment were predictive on health promoting lifestyle scores, with the regression model fitting of 69.4%Conclusions1.The total score of health promotion lifestyle of patients with knee osteoarthritis is lower than the standard value of the elderly in China and the scores of most existing patients with hypertension and coronary heart disease, suggesting that medical staff should pay attention to the evaluation and guidance of their lifestyle.2.The health promotion of lifestyle of patients with knee osteoarthritis is affected by the status of marriage, education, living conditions, medical payment methods, per capita monthly income, imaging classification,self-evaluation of health status, previous related behavior, pain, the difficulty of daily life, social support, disease cognition,self-efficacy,environment and other factors3.Education level, prior related behaviors, social support, disease cognition,depression,self-efficacy,and environment are important predictors of health promotion lifestyle in knee osteoarthritis patients, where depression is their negative predictor and others are positive predictors.
