Part I Correlation analysis between MS related indicators and serum PSA level in physical examination populationObjectiveAnalysis of the relationship between MS and PSA and between the incidence of MS and PSA level.MethodsRetrospectively collected clinical data of 10173 men undergoing examination at the National Geriatrics Center, divided into MS group and non-MS group according to MS diagnostic criteria;according to age<60 years old,age 60-69 years old,age 70-79 years old and age ≥80 years old,it is divided into 4 groups;according to serum PSA<4ng/mL and PSA 4-10ng/ml are divided into group A and group B.Serum PSA and MS indicators were compared, and the incidence of MS was compared according to PSA level and age.ResultsThere was no correlation with TG and DBP,a positive correlation between serum PSA level and SBP,and a negative correlation with BMI and FPG.In all the enrolled populations, the serum PSA was significantly different and the incidence of MS in the population increased with age.The incidence of MS in group A is higher than that in group B.ConclusionThis study shows that serum PSA levels are correlated with multiple indicators of MS;the incidence of MS increases with age;the incidence of MS is 4-10ng/ml,but it is not clear whether MS and PSA are Relationship of prostate cancer at 4-10ng/ml.Part Ⅱ Correlation of metabolic syndrome with positive rate of prostate biopsy in patients with PSA 4-10 ng/mlObjectiveTo explore the correlation between the BP positive rate of MS patients and the malignant degree of tumor at PSA 4-10ng/ml.MethodsThe perioperative period data of 650 patients with PSA of 4-10ng/mL undergoing prostate puncture in the urology department of Beijing Hospital were collected retrospectively. The influencing factors of positive prostate biopsy and the correlation analysis with tumor malignancy were analyzed.ResultsIn MS group,70 cases were diagnosed with PCA,the positive rate of BP was 42.5%(170/400),which was divided into 4.71%(8/170)of low-risk PCA,20.00%(34/170)of medium-risk PCA,75.29%(128/170)of high-risk PCA;in non MS group,42 cases were diagnosed with PCA,the positive rate of BP was 16.80%(42/250),26.19%(11/42),33.33%(14/42)of medium-risk PCA,40.47%(17/42)of high-risk PCA.The positive rate of BP in MS group was higher(P<0.001);the detection rate of low-risk PCA in MS group was lower than that in non MS group(P<0.001),the detection rate of medium risk PCA was lower than that in non MS group(P=0.098),and the detection rate of high-risk PCA was higher than that in non MS group(P<0.001).When PAS level is at 4-10ng/mL,age,BMI,blood lipid and prostate volume were independent factors which influence the result of prostate puncture based on logistic regression analysis.ConclusionThe BP positive rate of MS patients is more higher.MS has a correlation with the risk of PCa metastasis and malignancy. The causality among them needs further verification.
