Analysis And Design Of Information System Of Whole-process Management For External High-value Consumables In Operation

[Purpose] Based on the analysis of current management status for external high-value consumables in operation in China,surrounding the application,procurement,acceptance check,input and output,financial settlement and other business for external high-value consumables in operation,this study analyses and designs the information system of whole-process management for external high-value consumables in operation,in order to regulate the management of external high-value consumables in operation and ensure the safety in use and the promptness of supply for external high-value consumables in operation.[Methods] By the means of literature research,the domestic and foreign literatures of management for high-value consumables were classified,the current management status were known,and then the inadequacies of current research were discovered;Through field investigation method,a investigation was conducted in the department using external high-value consumables in operation,equipment department,and finance department of a grade three and first-class hospital,in order to understand the work procedures and the difficulties in the management of external high-value consumables in operation;Adopting interview method to understand the corresponding system needs of the management stuffs for external high-value consumable in operation,the system meeting the actual needs was designed,and it was continuously improved to meet the current business requirements as much as possible by communicating with the management stuffs;By using the modeling method,using business flow chart,entity-relationship diagram and other modeling tools,the business process the whole-process management of external high-value consumables in operation could be more intuitively demonstrated and the system could be designed.[Results] The domestic and foreign literatures of management for high-value consumables were classified in this paper,the domestic and foreign researches about itmainly focus on the management theory and method of high-value consumables,while there are few researches on the management information system of external high-value consumables in operation;According to the actual situation,the business process of management of external high-value consumables in operation was analysed,and then analysis of data flow and use case were made;Then on the basis of the system analysis,the information system are designed,including design of system architecture,design of system function module,and design of system database.[Conclusions] The current information system of management for high-value consumables only meets the needs of management for general consumables and high-value consumables in stock,but it can not meet the needs of management for external high-value consumables in operation.The information system of management for external high-value consumables in operation designed in this study ensures the safety in use and promptness of supply for external high-value consumables in operation,and improves the management efficiency of high-value consumables.
