ObjectiveTo evaluate whether local anesthesia modifies the hemodynamic response to tracheal intubation.MethodsFrom 1970 to 2016,We searched PubMed、CINK and Wanfang data base for references of the included studies.Studies involved RCTs based on key words"endotracheal intubate","topical anesthsia" and so on.Get datas of HR,MAP from the literatures. The Cochrane Collaboration’s RevMan 5.2 software was used for analyses.ResultsUltimately, ten literatures involving 541 patients having general anesthesia induction were eligible.408 patients experienced topical anesthesia before intubation.Meta-analysis showed that when patients experienced topical anesthesia, their HR,MAP were lower than those just had general anesthesia induction.ConclusionsThe efficacy of local anesthesia on hemodynamic response to tracheal intubation exists.
