Purpose of study:In order to share the recruitment experience in the Effect of Acupuncture and Clomiphene Cirate on Live Birth Infertile Women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome:Randomized controlled Trial(PCOSAct),to provide reference for the ongoing or upcoming infertility clinical research.Research methods:With the recruitment process of 1000 patients in PCOSAct as the background,focusing on the specificity of infertile subjects,to discuss how to improve the efficiency and quality of recruitment regarding to recruitment process and strategies in infertility clinical trials.According to the analysis of the actual situations,speed,quality during recruitment process in 21 sub centers respectively,to conclude the recruitment strategies and experience.Results:The recruitment process consists of the development of the recruitment plan,reception of potential participants,screening subjects conforming to protocol,and participants signing informed consent.According to the characteristics of female psychology such as psychological pressure,economic burden,family conflict,by screening high quality center with great hospital and doctors to ensure patients quality,through summarizing the effective recruitment approaches to expand range of publicity,by selecting the appropriate means of communication to improve enrollment rate and reduce drop-out rate,by encouraging patients to establish patient organization to expand the project influence in polycystic ovary syndrome patients,through the timely transfer of the cases to macro-control recruitment progress to ensure recruitment effectiveness,we state above aspects and conclude main shortcomings and put forward solutions.Conclusions:PCOS patient recruitment strategy relies on the national key disciplines"special disease specialist" advantage,according to the psychological characteristics of PCOS female,following the security subject rights and interests and ensuring the quality of the test principle,to develop a suitable plan.It lays a solid foundation for the complete of the research.The person responsible for the recruitment work is conducive to the recruitment work smoothly;recruitment of standardized training of personnel is conducive to orderly recruitment;a variety of combinations of recruitment approaches to expand the influence of the project,to expand the number of potential subjects;vary from person to person choose appropriate communication way to better the research scheme and informed consent;regulation of the overall task to recruit,encourage the establishment of patient organizations,condensed with resources,is conducive to the establishment of information system in patients with,is the shortcut to the recruitment;timely transfer case in favor of the project to promote efficient. |
