In this experiment, different concentrations of glutamine were added to the diet to explore the effects of glutamine addition level on wool production performance, apparent digestibility of nutrients, hair follicle development, intestinal microorganisms and economic benefits of angora rabbits.200 public security angola rabbits aged 8 months with good growth after the second knife hair was cut were selected.According to the initial weight and initial wool yield, there was no difference, they were divided into five groups on average. The control group was fed with basic diet, and the experimental group was supplemented with 0.3%,0.6%,0.9% and 1.2% glutamine respectively.During the feeding period, angora rabbits were raised in a single cage.According to the feeding method of routine management, they were free to eat and drink water every day,pre fed for 7 days, formal test for 65 days and metabolic test for 3 days. The results are as follows:(1)For the hair-producing performance of angora rabbits, the addition of glutamine to the diet can significantly increase the yield and yield of angora rabbits, and reach the highest value when the addition amount is 0.9%(P < 0.05);the addition of glutamine in the diet can significantly reduce the material-to-wool ratio of the angora rabbit and reach the lowest value when the addition amount is 0.9%(P < 0.05).The mortality was 0 when the glutamine addition was 0.6% and 0.9%.The addition of 0.6% and 1.2% glutamine in the diet can significantly reduce the elongation and elongation of rabbit hair(P < 0.05);the addition of 0.3% glutamine can significantly reduce the fiber fineness of rabbit hair fiber(P < 0.05),the addition of 0.6% and 0.9% glutamine can significantly improve the coarse hair rate(P < 0.05),and the addition of glutamine in the diet can significantly reduce the hair length of angora rabbits(P < 0.05).For hair follicle density, the addition of glutamine to the diet increased the primary hair follicle density of Angora rabbits;for hair follicle development-related gene expression, the addition of glutamine to the diet significantly increased the gene expression of insulin-like growth factor IR(IGF-I.R)(P < 0.05),and the addition of glutamine to the diet significantly reduced the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2(BMP2)and bone morphogenesis protein 4(BMP4)gene expression in angora rabbits(P < 0.05).(2)For the nitrogen metabolism of angora rabbits, the addition of glutamine significantly increased the intake of nitrogen in angora rabbits(P < 0.05),and there was also a trend towards an increase in the apparent digestibility of digestible nitrogen and nitrogen. For nutrient apparent digestibility, the addition of glutamine to the diet increases the apparent digestibility of crude protein and glutamine(P < 0.05).(3)For the routine serum index of Angora rabbit, the addition of glutamine to the diet significantly reduced the content of triglycerides in the serum(P < 0.05).For the immunological indicators in the serum, the addition of glutamine to the diet significantly increased the content of immunoglobulin G(Ig G),immunoglobulin M(Ig M),interleukin-2(IL-2),interleukin-10(IL-10)and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the serum of Angora rabbits, while reducing the content of immunoglobulin A(Ig A)(P < 0.05).(4)For the angora rabbit intestinal flora, after the addition of glutamine, the angora rabbit intestinal flora has been improved, the richness of the intestinal flora has been improved, the abundance of firmicutes has been reduced, and the abundance of actinobacteria has increased. In summary, the addition of glutamine to the diet can improve the production performance of the angora rabbit, improve the nitrogen use efficiency of the angora rabbit, improve the apparent digestibility of nutrients, enhance the immunity of the angora rabbit, and improve the richness of the intestinal flora.According to this test, the optimal amount of glutamine added is0.9%.
