| Neixiang 8518 was one of the largest hybrid rice varieties in the upper reaches of the Changjiang River,which was also the largest variety in the extension area of Neixiang series.Since 2007,the promotion area had been more than 8 million mu,especially the annual promotion area was more than 1.2 million mu from 2009 to 2014,which was more than 600,000 mu from 2017 to 2020.Neixiang8518 was the two main promoted varieties in Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunnan,Shaanxi,Chongqing provinces etc.for many consecutive years.Presently,it was well liked by farmers and popularized in the area due to its disease resistance,high yield,moderate growth period duration and good taste.The promotion area of Neixiang8518 was steadily increasing,which is participating in the experiment and will be approved soon in Vietnam,Myanmar and other Southeast Asian countries.After the depth research on the parents’characteristics and the high yield production technology of Neixiang8518 in Luojiang District from 2015 to 2018,a high yield and high quality seed production technology system was formed and the results as follows:1.The whole growth period of Neixiang 5A was 105d,plant height of Neixiang 5A was62cm,the abortion rate female parent was 100%.The initial flowering time and peak flowering time was at 9:40 and 11:10-12:10 respectively,and the flowering rate before noon was about 68%.The average of opening angle of the spikelet was 30°and the the duration time of spikelet opening to closing time was 150-240min;The average length and width of the stigma was 1.7217 mm and 0.5633 mm respectively.After flowering,the stigma vigor decreased slowly from 1d to 3d and rapidly in the following days.Without"920"treatment,the rate of extruded stigma was 79%,and the sensitivity of"920"was medium.In the control of Zhong9A,the total usage amount of"920"controlled at about334g/hm22.The duration in days from sowing date to full heading period of Neihui95-18 was118d,and the plant height was 110cm,it had 16 or 17 leaves in the whole growth period.The seed setting ratio and 1000-grainweight was 90%and 31g respectively.The average flower production was 2447.3.The initial flowering time and peak flowering time was at10:30 and 11:30-12:30 respectively.3.The sowing difference test showed that the parents’sensitivity to temperature and light was equivalent.Sowing gap stage between male and female parents was 46 days.4.The absolute value of yield composition factor and yield correlation coefficient in seed production of Neixiang8518 was efficient panicle>seed setting ratio>spikelet’s per sanicle>1000-kenel weight.The correlation analysis showed that the seed production yield and 1000-grain weight were negatively correlated with other factors,indicated that the increasing effective panicle could not only improve the seed production yield,but also increase the seed setting ratio.5.The production technology of Neixiang 8518 in Luojiang area was summarized as follows:the planting density was 2.5 million ears/hm~2and the sowing gap stage between male and female parents was 46 days.The seed setting ratio could increased through manual flower driving and increasing the number of flower driving,so as to increasing production.Through the application of N\P\K,the spike length and seed density of Neixiang5A could be increased,which colud further improve the seed production yield.6.The production yield of seed increased from 2750.76kg/hm~2to 3,606.15 kg/hm2,which reduced the production cost greatly.At the same time,with the increase of seed production yield,the seed quality was further improved. |
