Many years of straw returning to the field led to frequent occurrence of diseases and insect pests,which seriously affected the quality of wheat seedlings.Chemical dressing for seeds can effectively control diseases and insect pests,however the dressing agents on the market are specific for current cases.Therefore,it is necessary to study a special seed dressing agent for wheat that is more suitable for controlling diseases and insect pests in Huaibei plain,Anhui Province,China.In this study,based on the preliminary screening test,the seed coating agent "kulas" was chosen due to better integrative effects on the market,according to the action mechanism and physical and chemical properties of different kinds of chemical agents,we added difenoconazole,chlorfenapyr,thiamethoxam,phoxim,avermectin and other components to carry out the compound combination of the agents seedling growth and pest control effect.The local wheat variety Annong 0711 planted in south Huang-Huai-Hai was selected for experimental material.The experiment was carried out in Mengcheng agricultural science and technology demonstration farm of Anhui Province from October 2020 to March 2021.Seven types of seed dressing agents were used to treat wheat seeds prior to sowing.The control effect of diseases and pests and emergence rate of wheat seedlings were investigated,and the plant characters,leaf quality and root growth status were determined and analyzed.The content of green pigment,the activity of antioxidant enzyme and the content of MDA.The purpose of this study was to develop a special compound seed dressing agent for wheat diseases and insect pests in Huaibei plain,and to explore the differences between different compound dressing agents,so as to provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for the growth of winter wheat seedlings and the prevention and control of diseases and insect pests in Huang Huai Hai area.At present,the main results are as follows:1 The results showed that all seed dressing treatments were safe for wheat emergence.T3[2.2% difenoconazole + 2.2% fludioxonil + 25% phoxim + indoleacetic acid(0.002mg/ml)+ chitosan oligosaccharide(100mg/l)] and T5[2.2% difenoconazole +2.2%fludioxonil +0.15% avermectin +25% phoxim + indoleacetic acid(0.002mg/ml)+ chitosan oligosaccharide(100mg/l)] could improve the emergence rate of wheat,but there was no significant difference between T3 and T5.2 In terms of wheat seedling growth and development,T3 and T5 could significantly improve the leaf area and root dry weight of wheat in third leaf stage and leaf area and leaf dry weight of wheat in overwintering stage,and had better seedling strengthening effect,and had no significant difference with "kulas" seed coating.3 In the control of Wheat Sheath Blight at seedling stage,T3 and T5 were better than "kulas" seed coating in the control of Wheat Sheath Blight at seedling stage.4 In terms of controlling aphids and red spiders at wheat seedling stage,all seed dressing treatments had better control effect on aphids at wheat seedling stage,but in the aspect of controlling wheat spiders at wheat seedling stage,compound seed dressing agents T2,T3,T4 and T5 had the best control effect,and were significantly better than "kulas" seed coating agent.5 In the physiological and biochemical aspects of wheat seedling,T3 and T5 compound seed dressing significantly increased the relative content of chlorophyll,enhanced the activity of pod antioxidant enzymes in wheat seedling leaves,decreased the MDA content in wheat seedling roots,and significantly improved the stress resistance of wheat seedling.6 In terms of the price of compound seed dressing agent,the price per mu of T2,T3,T4 and T5 compound seed dressing agent was significantly lower than that of "kulas" seed coating agent.Based on the test results of various seed dressing treatments,T5 compound seed dressing agent has higher control effect on wheat diseases and insect pests,low price,and can achieve better seedling protection and strong seedling effect,which is more suitable for disease and insect pest control in Huaibei plain,and has good promotion value in actual production.
