Green space is an important factor that affects the microclimate and the distribution of fine particulate matter in campus public space.In the field of campus green space planning,most planners excessively consider to satisfy people’s aesthetic taste,while few of them pay attention to the value of green space in optimizing micro-climate and reducing the concentration of air pollutants.In recent years,due to the negative effects of industrial pollution on the health of residents,concept of healthy city planning has been paid more and more attention,urban renewal aiming at residents’ health have been carried out in many cities in china.In this context,study on the shortcomings existing in campus green space planning can provide reference and basis for campus renewal and reform.Through site investigation,data of buildings,plants,temperature,atmospheric relative humidity,wind speed and concentration of fine particulate matter(PM2.5)in the air were collected.Based on these data,CFD modes with different green belt composition were built and simulated.The experimental results show that: 1)Green space influences microclimate mainly by changing air temperature,humidity and wind environment.2)Green space with different plant community has different cooling and humidification effect degree for the microclimate.In a relatively closed group,green space consisting of trees,shrubs,and grasses has the strongest cooling humidification,while in a relatively open group,shrub green space has most significant cooling effect and greenspace with trees,shrubs and grass has the strongest humidification effect.3)In cold weather conditions,green space consist of trees,shrubs and grasses and green space made up with trees and grasses have higher thermal comfort.4)Green space has influence on the concentration of PM2.5 in the air.Green space with different structures has different blocking ability to PM2.5 in the air.The blocking ability of green space from strong to weak is tree-shrub-grass group,tree-grass group,shrub group and grass group.
