Golden Chinese yew is a variant type of Taxus cuspidata produced in the long-term cultivation process, which is a new high-end landscaping tree in recent years. In order to solve the problem of resource shortage and make it more widely used in landscaping, solving the key problems in its cultivation is an effective way to relieve the problem of resource shortage of Golden Chinese yew.In this paper, the following research results were obtained through the seed propagation, cuttage propagation and grafting propagation experiments of Golden yew:(1)Golden yew is the type of variation that occurs in the cultivation of Taxus cuspidata.According to the source of variation,it can be divided into three kinds, namely,Northeast Golden yew,South Korean Golden yew and Japanese Golden yew.Among them,Japanese Golden yew and South Korean Golden yew have similar sources.(2)The performance traits of golden cedar were related to the original species, and the differences in internal genes led to the differences in external morphological characteristics. The morphological characteristics of Golden yew are similar to those of the wild type of T.cuspidata.The characteristics of T.cuspidata are that the leaf color is golden, darker than that of T.cuspidata and Korean T.cuspidata, and the leaf length, leaf arrangement and branch intensity are similar to those of T.cuspidata.(3)In the process of seed reproduction, the seeds that mature early in August can be selected to shorten the breeding cycle.Hormone treatment can increase the emergence rate of Golden yew seeds.(4)Taxus cuspidata and Golden yew pollinated and hybridized each other as parents, and the ratio of leaf color yellow to leaf color green in F1 generation was basically 1:1,so the phenotype of offspring had nothing to do with the parents.Golden yew and Golden yew pollinate each other,The emergence rate is very low.Even the germination of individuals, albino seedlings will appear.Albino seedlings can not survive for a long time, and they can not survive if grafted on healthy T cuspidata.(5)In the process of cuttings propagation, the medium was perlite + vermiculite+ garden soil(1:2:3),and the cuttings with green leaf branches were treated with200mg/L ABT1# or IBA as the growth regulating substance for 2h,and the cuttings survival rate was the highest.(6)Although different parts of the cuttings did not affect the survival rate of cuttings, but will affect the characteristics of cuttings.Select the top of the Golden yew cuttings cuttings growth upright;selection of lateral cuttings, cuttings oblique upward growth,Golden yew flat.(7)The selection of Golden yew grafting retained the ventral grafting method of the original branch of the rootstock, and the grafting time was when the SAP began to flow, and the survival rate of Golden yew grafting was the highest.Different lengths of scion of Golden yew do not affect the survival rate, and the selection of scion of 1~2 cm during grafting can meet the needs of grafting propagation(8)The type of rootstock selected during the grafting of Golden yew does not affect the grafting survival rate, and the production needs can be met by selecting different rootstocks according to different needs.
