| Because Xinjiang cotton and its products have high use value and good economic benefits,cotton farmers are very enthusiastic about planting,making Xinjiang the top cotton planting area and unit area output in our country’s cotton-growing provinces and cities.Among of them,sowing quality is one of the important factors that affect cotton yield per unit area.Aiming at the problems of forced vibration in the field of the cluster metering device and poor stability of cotton seed particle migration,methods such as increasing the height of the collection device,increasing the positive pressure of the auxiliary seeding,and the hole former to break the film etc.,designed a cluster type cotton planter seeding and transportation system that can be compatible with Xinjiang film hole seeding technology,and determined the overall layout of the cluster type cotton planter.Through the selection of the cotton seed particle seeding method,the cotton seed air transport and seeding performance test was carried out,and the structural parameters of the seed tube and the working parameters of the positive pressure of the seed blowing in the influence of the stability of the cotton seed particle migration were determined.Through the coupling simulation calculation of EDEM and Fluent software,the migration state of cotton seed particles in the seed conveying pipe was obtained,and the feasibility of the structure arrangement of the seed conveying pipe was further verified.Under the condition of planting height of 956 mm,a test bench for the seeding performance of the cluster cotton planter was built,and the seeding and transportation system of the cluster cotton planter was tested.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Combining the structure of the existing air suction drum type seed metering device,select the appropriate cotton seed particle seeding method,and use the experimental research method to carry out the cotton seed air conveying and metering performance test.The inclination angle of the seed tube,the positive pressure of the seed blowing and the inner diameter of the seed tube are selected as the test factors.The three factors are carried out under the conditions of the seeding drum rotating speed of 15.38 r/min,the length of the seed tube being 1000 mm,and the negative pressure of 5.04 k Pa.The horizontal Box-Behnken bench test shows that when the inclination angle of the seed tube is 28°,the inner diameter of the seed tube is 22 mm,and the positive pressure of the seed blowing is 2.1 k Pa,the seed metering pass index is 94.2%,and the seeding missed index is 2.2%.(2)Through the design of the cotton planter’s seeding and transportation system,the arrangement of the seed metering device,the seed tube and the hole former is clarified.Theoretical analysis of the force of the cotton seed at the entrance of the seed conveying pipe and the airflow field is carried out,the structural parameters of the seed conveying pipe and the hole former are determined.The speed of movement relationship between the seed metering device and the cave former are obtained through theoretical calculations.(3)By establishing a simulation model of the cotton seed particles and the seed conveying pipe,the EDEM-Fluent software is used to conduct a coupled simulation analysis on the migration state of the cotton seed particles in the seed conveying pipe.It is found that the movement trajectory of cotton seed particles will have a turning point in the movement trajectory under the action of positive pressure airflow,and the movement speed will be further enhanced under the action of positive pressure blowing,thereby reducing the movement time of cotton seed particles in the seed tube and increasing seeding stability.(4)Through the experimental research on the seeding and transporting system of the cluster cotton planter,the influence law of the three factors of the rotating speed of the seeder,the rotating speed of the hole former and the positive pressure of the seed blowing on the working performance of the seeder is obtained.Obtain the level values of the various factors of the planter under better working performance conditions,and carry out the orthogonal test.The results show that: when the rotation speed of the seed meter is 16 r/min,the rotation speed of the hole former is 24 r/min,and the positive pressure of blowing is at 2.1 k Pa,the pass index is 88.06%,the missed index is 7.20%,and the replay index is 4.74%. |
